I liked the rooms were a t areasonable rate and close to the start for our race. I did not like the fact it was non contact and no one to physically talk to or check in with. Those who are tech it would be great.

Difficult and confusing clubhouse access - advertised sauna wasn’t accessible. Noisy from other occupants. Desk wasn’t assembled right so I couldn’t work. No one taking responsibility. I had to just get another hotel room.

Thank you for the feedback, John. We find it a bit odd that you had difficulty accessing our Clubhouse as there are directions on the Welcome screen of your TV, a laminated copy on the counter in your kitchen area, and signage with arrows on the Clubhouse itself. Everything within the Clubhouse, including the fitness center, sauna, steam room and daily breakfast are accessible by all Guests of this hotel. We apologize for the desk being in need of reinforcement due to daily use, however, that is not something that our Maintenance Team could have address at that hour of the evening, and the issue has been resolved.

The rooms and amenities in the room were very nice. The walk to the pool and chromecasts not working made the trip a bit difficult.

Per your response, the hotel, as stated in our property details, is part of a campus that includes a residential component. This is where all of our amenities such as daily breakfast and our saltwater pool and fitness center are located. As stated, it is a 3-5 minute walk or drive to that area with step by step instructions on getting there on your TV as well as a laminated copy in all of our suites. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were having an issue with our Chromecast devices in the bedroom area only of our suites. The living room TV was unaffected, and the bedroom TV channels were not affected. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience as it can only be addressed and repaired via our internet provider and not the hotel itself. We hope to see you back with us in the future.

The actual room was outstanding! Fully equipped kitchen would allow cooking meals. Comfortable lounging area with big tv. Bath and bedroom are first class. If the review was based solely on room it would be 5 stars. The location of the hotel is very convenient to shopping and dining. The negative is the amenities. The breakfast room, fitness facilities and outdoor pool are in a clubhouse shared with the apartments. Not the easiest to find and is at the other end of a large series of apartment buildings. Must be close to a mile between them. The hotel seems to be designed for extended stays. Not real convenient for short stays given the amenities location and the lack of a real person at a front desk to answer questions.

Although breakfast is not served on the property itself as the hotel is part of a campus that includes a residential component, the amenities as well as our daily breakfast is a short 3-5 minute walk or drive. We also have Security that patrols the property every evening from 6 pm- 6 am. Had you directed the question to Ivy, the Virtual Concierge provided to you as a Guest of the hotel as instructed via text message, she would have not only answered that and any other questions you may have had during your stay, but you would also have been provided with the number had you needed assistance during your stay.

I have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, and the accommodations are excellent. The keyless access is convenient, however, the checking in instructions are not clear enough about needing to place your phone’s screen directly on the lock in order to gain access to the room. During my second visit, the Wi-Fi password was not posted by the TV, so I needed to call the service line, and had no issues reaching someone (I have found that it is more helpful to call as opposed to using Ivy, as the bot does not always respond). The hotel rooms have a laminated graphic card showing where the Clubhouse is located, (which is a 10-12 minute walk away from the hotel), but the graphic itself is not clear about how to access the Clubhouse, which is located in a fenced, residential area of the property. Upon my arrival, I was able to run into the property after a resident exited in their car, which allowed for the gates to open. Upon exiting the Clubhouse, I discovered that there were areas along the fence where you can open the gate to enter and exit as a pedestrian. Again, instructions about accessing the property as opposed to just where it is located should be clearly provided to hotel guests. Finally, and importantly, the OpenKey app allows access into the Clubhouse, but it does not provide access to the gym, which has its own sensor lock for residents only. There was only one person in the gym who luckily let me in, but I cannot rely on gym access for future stays.

As we are an automated hotel, Ivy, your Virtual Concierge is available 24/7 to assist our Guests with any questions or concerns they may have during their stay with. Any inquiries regarding the WIFI information would have received a response in less than two seconds. There have been no Ivy messages from you for either of your stays. For Clubhouse directions, simply go to the main screen of your television and scroll to "Amenities" where you will be given exact directions to our Clubhouse. There are no locked gates that you need to pass through for access. Guests of Silver Collection Hotel have full use of all amenities within, including the Fitness Center. Any access issues that you may have experienced have since been resolved. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to your return visits in the future.

Clean but tech issues
Had issues getting into room due to tge contactless method. The front door of hotel was not a problem, but apparently room locks “fall asleep” and are a little more difficult to connect to your phone. Contacting an actual person was a bit frustrating, but eventually I got someone and she walked me through “sleeping “ lock issue. The virtual assistant Ivy was non-responsive.

This is why we have a Courtesy Patrol Officer on duty every evening from 6 pm-6 am to handle these types of issues. A luxurious stay
I can’t fathom why this location has anything less than perfect reviews as it is amazing & offers amenities like no other hotel in this area can come close to. The shared clubhouse on campus was a nice surprise & did not disappoint. I loved that it’s not manned & crowded as it feels more like a private residence than a busy hotel. Everything was just as explained in the details you’re given prior to booking so I had no issues with check in or the virtual assistance that was offered, if needed. I am already booking my next business trip back & look forward to the next stay here!

I did not like the fact that we had to walk to a different location for the complimentary breakfast; there was no signage for directions to the Clubhouse and no way to get into the gated area except for watching for departing cars and slipping through the gate!

Nice stay but maintenance issue
Overall we love this place and have stayed many times. This time we did not have any AC. After the first night we sent "Ivy" a message at 8am. We were gone until 5pm and there was still no response. We did not want another hot night in the room. There needs to be a better way to contact maintenance. We finally got someone to come out around 6pm but that was after making multiple calls and texting "Ivy" over and over again.
