While the area around the hotel itself is slightly out of the way, it's not too far from the city centre and main trainstation, which made it convenient for our needs. Good value for money.

Fine hotel.
Good location. Be sure to ask for a room not on the south part of the building unless it is on the sixth floor. The south view a a big gray wall. The other views are great. Sixth floor south is great. Good breakfast, clean, friendly. Bathroom a little small and not a lot of electrical plugs.

Does what it says on the tin
Functional hotel, 10-15 min walk from old center. We had rooms with nice river views. Slight issue with check in but hotels.com customer service fixed it. Nice staff.

Very clean- as you would expect with Ibis. Quite a basic room tho. Solid wifi. Covid precautions with mask, gloves & sanitizer at breakfast. Food was ok -the lounge looks out onto the river with the scenic fortress/castle on the hill. The hotel is a 15 mins walk into town & 15 to the train station OR the bus 9 which runs only every 30 mins. This bus will also take you up to the fortress. Decent hotel. 8/10.

Good hotel close to old town
The hotel is in a good location just a short walk along the river to the old town.Lots of free car parks within walking distance.The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast looked good but we did not have to try it

Ideal place to stay!
From the moment I arrived the staff were impeccable ! Polite and very helpful with the questions I asked them, nothing was too much trouble. I was given a splendid room with a view to die for, Totally amazing! Only 15 minutes walk to where I needed to be. A gem of a City too with beautiful surroundings , also stunning views, I would definitely recommend it!

Nice hotel, good location, but loud at night
The reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is conveniently located near the downtown area and parking next to the hotel in the public parking site was easy, although it costs 9 euro. The first night we slept with the window open which kept the room cool, but between 2-4 pm there was a steady flow of loud drunk people walking back to the nearby train station. If you are going to be one of the loud drunk people walking back, then this is your hotel :) The second night we slept with the window closed and didn't hear any of the noise. We like it cold and the AC did work but it is fairly weak compared to US standards. The breakfast was good but crowded, so seating was a little difficult to find. We still enjoyed the trip and visiting Wuerzburg, so the hotel worked as needed.

Bathroom is disappointing
Staff was amazing, the reception area is really nice and the bed was comfortable. The toilet didn't flush properly and the walk-in shower is not designed very well - it's impossible to keep the bathroom from flooding if you want to get clean :(

Urine and tobacco
Honestly, the room stank of urine when we got there and the sheets had the odour of smoke. I don't think anyone smoked in the room, it just feels like a chain smoker slept there the night before and the sheets were not changed. On a side note, we went to reception to ask if they could keep our baby food in a fridge but they didn't have one. I'm not complaining about the fridge, as it was never a part of the deal but I am writing about it because I suppose it could be handy for people to know.

Excellent value for money
We had to drive around the block - not that easy with the hotel being located on the corner of a bridge and a major traffic artery into the city - to figure out where to park. We should have scouted out the location more to be better prepared. Parking was 9€ in the parkade across from the hotel. Check in was easy, the room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast offered a nice variety. My favorite was the availability of fresh ginger for tea. We could hear the trains and the party boat on the river, but barely, and it was not a problem. Nice view of the Festung from our 3rd floor room. We would definitely stay there again.

Typically efficient, but slightly soulless Ibis. Nice white wine at the bar and Wuerzburg is quite a nice town.

Very practical hotel
I cannot read German language. Using Google translation, I reviewed my bill. And I found that breakfast fee was double-chaged. The next day, fortunately, I stay ibis hotel Bamberg. Hotel staff in Bamberg was willing to help me to re-fund.

Comfortable and clean
Perfectly good enough for a few days in wonderful Würzburg. Room was large and clean with a shower pod style en suite which did the trick.

There is no carpark at the hotel. Guests need to park at a nearby carpark. It would be helpful if this is noted on your website and direction to the public carpark is sent once a booking is confirmed.

On the cross road
Opposite to hotel you will see a gas station. Near the gas station you will see "no enter"street so if you have a GPS can find the entrance of street that is a free parking area.

Hotel was fine but poor sleep due to heat & noise
I stayed for 2 nights travelling through the area by train. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station, and was down a dark street full of drunk people on both nights. The hotel itself is ok, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy and the room was immaculately clean. The downside however is that the air-con turns itself off at night so you wake up in the early hours roasting hot, and you can't open the windows due to the noisy bar opposite and passing freight trains all through the night. I'm sure you'd get a better night's sleep in the winter but the middle of summer wasn't very good. It was ok but next time I'll book somewhere with working aircon and no noise.

Lovely clean and comfortable close to centre.
Lovely, clean, comfortable. Close to city centre and river area. We brought our dog and this was no trouble. Staff always there when you need them, helpful with parking info and sorting payment of this as car park to use is across small road, there is somewhere outside to pull up and unload your stuff though.Overall, very good stay.

Nice location
It is located at a very nice view of outer Würzburg. The access to city is easy, you can walk to city in few minutes. Room was nice and clean, the accommodation is best according to price.

Reception staff were friendly and polite when we informed them we couldn't speak German well and gladly spoke English which was most appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the room had decent pillows as well as extras which made for a great night's sleep.

Short but great stay
I was in Köln only for one night but the time there was great. The room was a very nice size. Great bathroom with toiletries. Nice Irish pub next door as well as many other bars and restaurants. Very easy to find and navigate through the area. Definitely recommend and will stay there again.

WiFi was free in the lobby but costs an additional 9 Euro ($13.50) if you want it in your room. Breakfast was an additional 10 Euro ($15.00) per person. Coffee in the lobby is 2.40 Euro ($3.60) per cup. Our original room had a problem with the bathroom, but this was addressed promptly and appropriately.

Stayed several nights in May 2011. View of Festung Marienberg from room. Nice breakfast with view of boats on river. Pleasant staff. Photographed lovely full moon oveer Wurzberg from window in our room.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to downtown. The sites are a little spread out but are around the downtown area. Parking is across the street, 8 euros a day. The rooms are small. The breakfast isn't bad, and there is WIFI at the front desk. It has a small bar at the front. For a short stay it is fairly good value for the money.
