Clean and safe motel with friendly staff. Located on the main road on Fox Glacier township with easy parking on-site. Room was a little bit on the small side but still comfortable and well stocked.

Really lovely welcome and good room. I think the only bits which made it a 4 instead of a 5 star is that there was no hob (microwave only) and no smart TV with apps eg Netflix or YouTube. Other than that it was really good with lovely staff and housekeepers. Thank you Graham

Quiet gem, no frills, good staff, the only thing lacking was an elevator. Loved the surrounding nature.

The staff was lovely, but, honestly, the cost of staying in what was essentially a very modest, basic hotel/motel was way out of proportion. Based on other accommodation we’ve stayed at in New Zealand, we paid 2x what we should have.

Absolutely loved Karen at the front desk. She welcomed us, made us feel at home, was full of helpful hints, tips, ans suggestions, and kept us laughing the whole time. The room was nice enough, comfortable and convenient, but Karen really made our stay special.

I stayed in room 18 the kitchen faucet is broken the toilet seat neads fixed these are minor things the only thing i didnt like was a water tank slowly filling all night drove me nuts

Too much rain, too little exploring.
Had everything we needed for our overnight stay, except good Poured while we were there, which meant we didn't get to explore surroundings much.

Great place to stay.
Things started well with a great manager offering us excellent tips about the area. The room must have been refurbished recently and was superb. Wifi ok. Parking in front of the room. Only downside was an alarm going off at 7am - i cricked my neck leaping out due the excessive noise - turned out to be a toaster in a room far away :(

Would definitely stay here again. We were late checking in and they were super accommodating and left clear instructions with our room ready and waiting. Perfect location to explore Fox Glacier, Lake Matheson & Glow Worms. The room was spacious and exactly what we needed after a long day of driving and exploring. 5/5!

The accommodation was great. Although small it had everything we needed. Very clean. Nice staff. The days we stayed it was very hot and air-conditioning would have been great. The fan provided did help a little. Check out the glow worm walk nearby. It was fantastic.
