"The room is clean and very Tuscan. It’s about a 6 minute walk from the train station which can be very convenient if travelling out. It’s about 2 minutes to the Arno River in a safe area and across the street from the best little bakery in Florence. Self check in was easy and smooth. We arrived later than the official check in but let them know. It was no problem and super easy"

"The room was spacious, there was no 24/7 reception so the staff asked about our check-in timings and waited for our arrival to give us administrative instructions. The accommodation was on the 2nd floor of a building with a small elevator for us to bring our luggages up. It was located in a fantastic part of Florence with many shops and eateries around which were open till night. The shower head shared the same space as the toilet bowl so that needed some getting used to."

"We were very skeptical at first, since it is an old building and the entrance/elevator remains as if time had stopped in 1936. BUT once you open the first door to where the rooms are, we come back to our time again. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated, and perfect location, baring in mind that you are close to a very transitted area, and thus, noises (not unbearable) are possible, as well as the church bells. "The building is over 600 years old but you wouldn’t know it judging by the rooms. There is also a very nice terrace for sun tanning we used that was very private. The view of the Duomo from the room can’t be beat either."

"The property was very unique in its style. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map and information about places to eat. There was a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee which was a bonus. The only thing that I would criticise is the pillows. The pillow was extremely hard and I had to replace it with the towels because I could not sleep."

"Very convenient to the central tourist area. Easily walkable to most things. Room was small as we didn't use the small loft. Shower was very small and the door did not work very well. Check-in is at the Hotel Venito, which is a short walk away. That hotel is easier to find than where you will actually stay. Overall, fine for our purposes. "

"The staff and service at San Giuliano Inn Was exceptional! I felt like I was at home with family. They made me and my niece feel extremely welcomed! It is a great location! Upon arrival, I was a little concerned because there is some street const ruction! But I would stay here again, even with the construction! Their room was clean! Cappuccino was amazing!"

"Very helpful staff, lovely room. When we arrived (self check-in), our key to the room didn't work. We texted the hotel staff who very quickly came over to the building and agreed the key / lock was broken. Fortunately, there was one other room available so they moved us into the available room for one night whilst they got the door key / lock fixed. A tricky situation handled very well by the staff. We'd happily stay again!"

"Location was EXCELLENT in the since of being able to easily walk to many attractions and meet-up spots for tours. There was a lot of noise from the street with our particular room, but I feel that comes from being in a busy area. Very clean, even having to share a bathroom with others. Check in is a little confusing. Initially, finding it is challenging. A good way to remember is it is across and down from the Korean restaurant. Breakfast has some frustrations. "Spacious, comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location (3 Piazza della Signoria)! The common sitting/dining area and large rooms feel very Florentine. Staff speaks limited English but are very friendly and helpful. Just keep an eye on the slightly convoluted check-in procedures (don't ignore your emails the day of arrival). "

"The staff was very kind the check in was quick , the room was clean but very cold at night since they did stop the heating system. it was very easy to walk everywhere, lot of restaurants around and 5 minutes walk from the train station."

"Property did not have amenities advertised such as the gym, spa, or air conditioning. The staff gave excuses why they didn’t have. Like, there’s a gym 2 miles away, we can call someone to give a massage, or the AC doesn’t work due to top secret agreements with B&Bs in the area before June to save them money. No no. If you advertise it and I buy it, you need to provide it or refund the money you took by false advertising. "

"We loved our stay! We stayed in the 1 bedroom and it was great. Kitchen had everything needed. The living room has a pullout sofa with a comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice big rainfall shower. Alessio was great and promptly met us on arrival to give us a tour of the property. The area is in the heart of the city and perfect location one block from the Ponte Vecchio. Highly recommend. "

"It's a 45 euro cab ride from the Florence airport, but it's so much better than staying in the city!. First of all, Florence traffic and tourism is a bit bonkers, so when you see people lugging their suitcases over cobblestone streets while hundreds of people flow past them every minute and cars zip & squeeze down the streets, you can be glad you got a cabin here, got to park by your door, had the all-you-can eat breakfast, 24-hour laundry, large store for everything from games to wine to meat...
