Serene location, super-attentive staff, garden full of ambrosial plants. The facilities while very clean, a bit on the smaller side…great value for the money!

This is a beautiful property not too close or too far from the touristy section of Florence and very walkable. The restaurant suggestions by the staff were incredible. Shower can be a bit slippery though. Beautiful property and grounds. Amazing breakfast served in the morning. The bar staff, Adam, was fun and friendly. Would return for sure.

Nice property in Florence within walking distance of most of the historic areas. The staff is particularly good, but what stands out is the quality throughout. Other than the room size (small by any standard), there’s nothing but great things about this hotel

Hotel Horto Convento was located in a nice quiet area but close enough to the centre to easily access all the main sites and had a good choice of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and rooms light and airy.

Great property and location. Even greater service and customer experience. Felt like we were in on a secret with this location and hotel that was walkable distance to the main attractions (max 20 min walk) while being close to some amazing food. Family loved it and we will be coming back again. Tutto Benne.

Giovanni at the front desk was a wealth of knowledge! He helped us with parking (that part is a bit difficult, but it’s Florence so that comes with the territory) He helped us with local food places to eat and even to help us find a local laundromat. He was very communicative! The place was clean and had everything we needed.

We LOVED Hotel Horto Convento! It’s a beautiful hotel with attentive staff, a phenomenal breakfast, and a lovely courtyard for relaxing outside. Each night when we arrived back at the property after having dinner, we felt like we were staying at our own private Italian villa…it was magical.

Dear Mrs. Siliezar,As previously mentioned during your stay, it is currently winter in Florence, and we utilize heating systems. The average temperatures in Florence throughout your visit ranged between 7 and 14 degrees Celsius. Our hotel has been operational for many years, hosting thousands of guests during the same period as your stay, and we have not received any similar complaints. I can confirm that we have an air conditioning system that operates during the warmer seasons and, when required, in response to high temperatures, considering the ongoing global climate changes.Filippo Narbona Hotel Manager

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It was a bit of a walk to get to the tourist attractions but not bad. I liked that it was in a quiet area.

This hotel was perfect for me. I didn’t want to stay in the busy part of the city, but close enough to walk everywhere I wanted to go within 10-30 minutes. I loved returning at the end of a busy touristy day, and having peace and quiet at the hotel, felt private, breakfast was wonderful, and staff super kind and helpful.

So nice to be located 20 mins or so walk away from the hordes of tourists in the historic centre, and yet still feel very much in the most beautiful part of the city. The neighbourhood is very cool, with some lovely restaurants and bars on Borgo San Frediano just five minutes' walk away. The hotel itself is tucked away from the road, connected to an adjoining functioning convent, and is very peaceful, with beautiful grounds. Staff are very friendly (thanks in Dan the barman, and for Giovanni for really making us laugh). The bar area is divine, we went every evening at 7pm for cocktails before dinner. The breakfast is fantastic, hot and cold food and even some prosecco to get he day started right, with very efficient staff on hand. Rooms very comfortable, very dark so great for sleeping.

10 out of 10. Gorgeous room and so spacious. Staff was amazing! Breakfast was delicious. Grounds were beautiful- aside from a noisy guest in another room it was so peaceful. Don’t hesitate book this hotel!!

The hotel locations in a more quiet part of town. That was a welcome change thither Florence Hotels we have enjoyed. The staff was very gracious and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

With the hustle and bustle from a great deal of tourism, it was so very nice to return back to the hotel at the end of the day. The second you walk through the gates to the facility, it's like being transported to a quiet country home. Love this place and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Beautiful tranquil location not far from the Brancacci Chapel with high walls surrounding the haven of a garden. Such a lovely place to have breakfast. Cool interiors - in both senses. And really friendly, helpful staff.

Beautiful design- austere, but with a great juxtaposition of modern furnishings. The lounge was beautiful and comfortable. Cherish at the front desk was absolutely lovely and so helpful at check in.
