Let me start out by saying the only reason I didn't give a 5-star review is because the Wifi was weak and dropped out all the time, which was frustrating, and for some reason the volume on the TV was so low it was almost unusable. I stayed here in March of 2024 with my family of 4. We stayed in one of the apartments which is next door to the actual hotel entrance. The apartment was very large. It was a one bed, one bath unit with a separate living room and kitchen. I think it was a little over 600 square feet total. My kids slept on the pull-out couch. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked well enough with pots, pans, dished, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and oven so you could cook some meals instead of eating out all the time.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Very good selection and delicious. Otherwise, there is a small supermarket just around the corner where you could get groceries to make your own or, on the same street as the supermarket, are countless restaurants and cafes.
The hotel is about three blocks from the train station which made it very convenient when lugging your luggage and your family through the streets of Florence. The location was great. The staff at the hotel was excellent in every respect.
The only bad was the Wifi in the apartment was a little spotty. It might be different if you are in one of the single rooms in the main hotel. If this doesn't concern you then consider this a 5-star review.
