Second time we have stayed here. Easy walk to the sites great staff. Breakfast is ok. Could be a bit better but overall a great place to stay.

It was a basic hotel, not four star. No fridge in room. No wifi available, although I have talked to the front desk and they agreed there should be free wifi available in property, but I found out the only place that you could find the available wifi if you stay in front desk. In general the staff were friendly.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this accommodation. Beautiful building, staff very helpful. Good location for walking into Florence. Car parked safely. Unfortunately because the weather was a bit chilly in the mornings we wore our coats to eat breakfast in the outdoor breakfast area.

Nice villa experience. Lovely garden for breakfast. Walking distance to many restaurants and Boboli Gardens at Ponte Roma, and a stroll to major sites. Would return. Friendly staff. Breakfast included.

Great Stay
Amazing stay. Beautiful building and great location, 20 mins stroll to Ponte Vecchio. The staff were fantastic and could not do more for us. Highly recommended.

Classic hotel but also very FILTHY & OUTDATED
This is NOT what I’ve paid for, and it wasn’t cheap. Don’t ever trust the photos on the website. The name is Classic Hotel, but they forgot to add: OLD & OUTDATED to the name. I booked a queen bed with garden view. But my room was in the attic with low 5 foot ceiling corner. And I kept bumping head to the ceiling beams. There was no window in my room. I talked to front desk about it. They told me to get on the TV stand and open the sunroof to see the garden. Are they serious? But I did try and still couldn’t see the garden. The room is very old and filthy. Stain marks of all kind, like someone spitted on the walls, dirty scratches, and water damaged marks are on all four walls. There was not even a single hanger for my jacket. The next morning I need to shave only to find out there was no electric outlet on the bathroom. So I have to stand next to the nightstand to use my electric shaver. Imaging every guess would doing this; just not very sanitary. The WIFI was very weak and didn’t reach to my room. I went to the lobby but it didn’t work that well either. If you’re here on business forget about it. There broken furniture, missing handles, exposed heater pipes. ( see photos ) This hotel needs some serious maintenances. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone. Not sure if I was here at the wrong time, but during breakfast all I saw were old senior citizens. I’ve stayed in some hostels during my trip and they have much better facility and accommodation than this hotel.

Fantastic service from front desk. Splendid family room with excellent air con (despite other reports to the contra on this site). We slept like kings in the largest memory foam bed we have ever seen. Breakfast was as expected but suited our needs. Location ideal for sight seeing and away from the crazy central streets and the free parking was spot on. Overall a fabulous experience for our first visit to Florence.

Convenient 20 min walk to the main sites. I have never met such friendly and helpful staff. Room was beautiful with onsite parking. Breakfast outside in the private garden. Would definitely choose it again.

This hotel was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean. They came into our room every day and tidied up and cleaned everything. The hotel staff was also very friendly. They made multiple recommendations throughout our whole stay. The front desk person in the evening was superb. He recommended the best restaurant. Breakfast was also really good. The setup was a typical Italian breakfast. They had a cappuccino/espresso machine, croissants, toast, butter, jam, cake, cereal, milk, yogurt, and etc. Overall, this was a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend it, especially because a lot of the accommodations in Florence are old and tiny. This place has large rooms and is very well taken care of.

This old mansion across from the Boboli Gardens is very quiet, tho it’s only a 20-30 minute walk to the Ponte Veccio, Uffizi and main sights. Bus line and restaurants a block away. Nice included cold breakfast fixings underground, sun room above, friendly and helpful concierge. Our 1st fl. Room had a sitting room over which was a loft bedroom. Tv. Elevator. Gated Parking! Reasonable cost.

Hotel is very old and outdated, we were the only guest and at expedia after our reservation it said no room available. Breakfast consisted of bread, butter, jam, coffe and juice!
