This is a perfect place for families. The Villas are modern, spacious and everything is in perfect condition. The shuttle to the beach and the shopping center is very convenient. Email information before travel. Place was spotless. Pool was immaculate. Office staff extremely helpful, giving suggestions for holiday ideas, making inquiries and bookings for us. The security staff were also very friendly and helpful with bags. All in all - a wonderful holiday experience.

Outstanding accommodation and personal service.
Well, what can I say ? The title says it all. I decided to choose villa sun based on reviews. The villas themselves are immaculate and the facilities in them were top class. Everything you would want in your own home. Comfortable bed, washing machine, cutlery, walk in shower, microwave. The swimming pool and sun loungers were also excellent and in really good condition. Staff are wandering around the gardens sweeping up leaves etc. There is a tennis court too but we didn’t use it. When we arrived we felt the location was a little remote. The villa is about 1.5km walk from town and taxis are minimum 200 rupees each way (£5). We couldn’t keep doing that. The manager called Clifford, his assistant (Valerie) and the owners, Corinne and Bernadette really set this accommodation apart with their superb advice and service. They were always willing to give us a run by shuttle to the Cascavelle shopping centre (supermarket) to the beach or to the Spar for groceries. It took about 5 minutes each way but was a Godsend as it took us over 35 minutes walking. They do this between 9 and 5 o’clock. We used the bus a couple of times but they seem to stop after 6:30pm or so. The people and they are people made our stay so comfortable. They were brilliant hosts and made us feel so welcome. I have never been waved from an accommodation before on all my travels :) my Dad wasimpressed too. We lost my Mum in May and my Dad decided he would like to come with me. I highly remmend Villasun.

For your information: 1. we operate a complimentary daily shuttle between 9 am and 5 pm. 2. Although we are on self-catering, you can order breakfast (and other meals) from our caterer for delivery at your apartment, this is mentioned in our information file available inside the apartment and the menu also is provided. 3. We received your comment regarding hot water upon your checkout and we checked instantly. The hot water was flowing from kitchen and bathroom taps. We maybe omitted to mention you that you should let it flow for some minutes as it is not instant, the boiler tank is found on the roof under the solar heater. 4.If the WiFi antenna inside your apartment was malfunctioning, you could however switch to another available outdoor connection which was strong enough and available inside your apartment. We regret for any inconvenience and thank you for your comprehension, we are maybe not the type of accommodation for your expectations. Best regards. Villasun Team.

Five star customer care
We can definitely recommend Villasun! Walking into the complex is one of that “wow” moments! We stayed for 5 days in a Cannelle, one of the two bedroom units. Everything in the unit is still looking brand new and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. The garden and swimming pool is extraordinarily beautiful. The best part of our stay was the five star customer service provided by Valerie and Clifford, from the water and juice in the fridge to always being willing to drive us around, all with a smile, friendliness and free of charge. We’ll recommend Villasun to everyone without hesitation. Thank you for adding to our great memories of our holiday in Mauritius!

Lovely accommodation & clean & friendly staff
My husband & I stayed in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment & it was spacious, well equipped and furnishings were lovely too. On our first night sleeping there, we heard a noise which sounded like an air conditioner motor from the upstairs apartment, so we moved to the second bedroom. We told Clifford the next morning & he arranged for our bed to be moved into the other room, which was more spacious anyway. We didn't hear the air conditioner again. Security at Villa Sun was excellent & we felt safe. Apartment was serviced daily. The free shuttle bus service to Cascavelle Shopping Centre or Flic en Flac beach was available to us anytime between 9am-5pm & we never had to wait more than 2 minutes for this service. We had family staying in Flic en Flac beach & Corinne & Clifford took us straight to their apartment. Nothing was a fuss for them. Corinne, Clifford & Valerie were always friendly & obliging & very helpful. All other staff too were smiling & saying bonjour whenever they saw us. The only negative - is the distance to the shops, restaurants, beach - if you want to go before 9am & after 5pm - you would just need to get a taxi - about 200 rupees - about $8. There are a couple of restaurants at Cascavelle Shopping Centre too, but we didn't go to those as we cooked in the apartment. Overall, we would highly recommend Villa Sun for a relaxing stay in Flic en Flac and thanks Corinne, Clifford & your team for making our stay a pleasant and comfortable time in Mauritius.

Great customer service and they made sure to take care of us during our stay there. The villa was very comfortable as well. Only downside is that the town is not walking distance from the Villa. It is about a 5 minute drive.

What a great place!
We loved our stay at Villasun, the 3 bedroomed villa was so spacious and lovely. The 2 double bedrooms (both ensuite) upstairs were perfect for me and my husband and our 2 children, there was even seating and a balcony with a lovely view up there. The downstairs bedroom (with another full bathroom downstairs too) was perfect for my parents in law. We all had our own space, the kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge / dining room was perfect to fit all of us in comfortably. The little outside area was also good. The pool / tennis court, gym, playroom and fusball table were all also great for the children and for us. The owners and Valerie were just so helpful, they were so good with offering advice about where to go and shuttles down to the beach (which is a 25 min walk away). We all loved our stay there. And even when my father-in-law left his passport and other items in the safe they were so helpful in getting them returned to us.

Great apartments and great staff
It took us a while to find Villa sun. if you get a taxi then you should be fine, however we had a relative driving us and it wasn’t clear on google maps. Once we found it the first time, it was easy to get too and from. The apartment was big, clean and had everything you needed. If you’re from the UK then theres no need for an adapter. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the shuttlebus was a great touch. The only reason ive given comfort a 4 was because the sofa and seats just aren’t comfy. They have a very odd material in them. Other than that the stay was excellent and couldn’t recommend them highly

A very nice place to stay, perfect for families.
Booked through Expedia this place fully suited our holiday plans. We rented a car as wished to get the most out of Mauritius, without having to join all the tours and use taxis. However, even without a car the place can offer you excellen value tours (we booked the "swimming with Delphines" through them and I can only recommend it to everyone) The public beach is within walkable distance and the swimming pool can probably be all yours should you chose to stay in. The washing machine in your apartment spares you from having to bring heavy luggades too :) Fully fitted kitchen is a comfort that one can always appreciate. The apartment was cleaned daily and was one of the cleanest we ever stayed in. Can only thank Corina & Clifford for their professionalism and kindness and for making our stay such a pleasant one! We will definitely go back to Villa Sun in future.

Stay here!
Great hotel, not one complaint. Location is also very good, close to a really nice supermarket. Also the beach is a few minutes by car (as others have said, a car is a must). Its really quiet and peaceful here, not too many people at the pool. They even have foosball and a tennis court. Perfect for a couple in need of relaxing!

The hotel suite is more like a beachfront vacation home, it's a huge, trendy, clean and comfortable ensure unit. Just wanted to extend our appreciation to Clifford, the unit manager, for being hospitable and professional. We had to cancel a day of our booking at the last minute due to an unexpected flight cancellation. Not only was Clifford able to accommodate our needs, he even took the time to sort out the refund with a third party booking company. A must stay hotel!

An Excellent Apartment Hotel for family stay
An Excellent Apartment Hotel for family stay. Not far from Flic-en-Flac beach or big shopping mall (within 5-10 minutes drive from both locations) . Fantastic Villa Complex!
Having stayed at the Villa Sun a year ago, we decided to return to this property for a 2 night stay this time around. We booked a 3 room villa for this trip. Checking in was an absolutely pleasant experience. This was performed in the villa which allowed my family to settle in whilst the check in process continued. The check in process, staff friendliness and the villa in general surpassed all expectations! The villa was extremely luxurious. As I had elderly guests with me, I was very pleasant surprised to find that 1 bedroom was on the ground level! Staff were friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was equally good. In room wifi was superfast. My only gripe was that we only stayed for 2 nights here! I wish I stayed for many more nights since this villa, and complex, is excellent! All in all, an excellent stay, with no hiccups. Will we return – most certainly, for longer!

Great Place to stay in Flic en Flac
We (family with two kids) stayed at VillaSun for one week. We loved it. The whole complex is modern and well maintained. The houses are roomy, comfortable and well equiped. Staff is very friendly. Location is good: 1k from the beach and 2k from the cascavelle mall. Would love to come back.

Excellent Villa with Awesome Service !!
Enjoyed a week long stay in their 3 BR Ocean View Villa, and will definitely come back again !!!! Pros: 1. Fully equipped kitchen, and very well maintained amenities 2. Private Car Parking space right in front of the Villa 3. Very friendly English speaking staffs, free shuttle service 4. Nearby to flic en flac beach, Casela Park, Pasadena Shopping complex, Cascavelle Shopping Village Cons: 1. Not exactly an Ocean view villa.. A far away ocean can be seen from the balcony .. Its not one of the types which lets you step on Sand when you open your Balcony. Set your expectations right and you will definitely enjoy the stay !!

Excellent Villa - Excellent Holiday
What an excellent villa resort, we had an absolutely amazing time here! It is very peaceful and slightly further away from the centre of Flic en Flac, but walking distance of shops and beach. This was an unforgettable holiday with lots of great memories. The villa is clean, staff was extremely friendly and we will certainly be coming back again! BIG thumbs up!

Private Oasis
We stayed at Villa Sun for 7 nights and had a most enjoyable stay. The ground floor 2 bedroom apartment was right near the pool so we could walk out of our door and take a quick dip. The complex is well maintained and has gate security 27/7. The pool is large and has ample lounging and sitting areas around it. There were some issues with the power to our unit during our stay but they were rectified by maintenance once the problem became clear. The Villa Sun is located in a quiet area away from the main 'town' of Flic En Flac but is only a short 5 minute drive to both the Cascavelle Shopping Centre and the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sun and we were sad to leave. As a final hint: Driving in Mauritius can be challenging, so I would recommend taking/hiring a GPS if possible as things are very difficult to find with just a map.

We had a very comfortable stay in a clean and neat villa and the service was excellent. They arranged a taxi from the airport and also bought some basic groceries for us because our plane was landing late. Very well equipped villa and a beautiful pool

Fabulous apartments that offer great value
This property is superbly maintained and managed. It is centrally located for those who have a car and are planning to travel around the island. It is conveniently located only a few minutes from the beach and shopping centre. Staff are very professional and helpful but otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday without intervention which was great. Looking forward to returning and have recommended to others.

Stylish apartment complex, fantastic staff
Great if you are looking for more independence on the west coast than staying in one of the all-inclusive hotels. The apartments are stylish and located round a beautiful pool, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's possible to walk to the beach at Flic en Flac and the restaurants there in less than 30 minutes, but the staff are also happy to give you a lift there and to places like the nearby shopping complex at Cascavelle or the Casela nature park. Exploring further to Port Louis and the north coast is possible with buses nearby, and many taxis will offer day tours to places further away or hard to get to, which can be cheap if you bargain. So, we didn't need to hire a car, but there is space to park inside the villa complex if we had.

Great Stay
This place was great for our needs. Very nicely maintained villas with a great swimming pool and small gym, fully equipped kitchen and parking spot. Very close to Flic en Flac beach which is gorgeous and a whole host of restaurants on the coastal road.

The perfect stay at Villasun
We stayed here for 9 days. Loved the place so much that we will be returning in the future. We've got upgraded to a 3 bed villa which was amazing. The people there are very friendly, Corrine, Valerie and the security guard John were ready to help us with our inquires. The villa is not on the beach but the location is quiet and lovely. You can walk to the beach or hire a car (have to have a car anyway to explore the beauty of Mauritius.).The kitchen was well equipped. I just cannot find a fault. Definetly would recommend this place to everyone.

Une très bonne adresse au calme
Bel appartement, au calme, très bien équipés ( TV avec Canal plus). Très bon accueil et qualité de service de M. Clifford. Également sécuritaire avec gardien. Bien sûr, une voiture est nécessaire. Village de Flic en Flacq et centre commercial Cascavelle en 5 min en voiture. Piscine agréable dans ce petit resort privé.

Tres bel etablissement, les materiaux utilises sont de qualite. L' appartement deux chambres etait tres propre. Le wifi fonctionnait tres bien. La piscine etait grande et belle. Un service de navette a la demande vous permet d'aller a la (tres belle) plage ou au centre commercial tout pres. Bemols : quartier moyen, pas possible de sortir a pied. peu de conseils de la part des gerants malgre leur gentillesse.

Bonjour, Merci de partager votre experience à Villasun avec d'agréables commentaires sur l'établissement. Nous sommes situés dans un quartier residential très calme, suffisamment éloigné des activités du village de Flic en Flac. Par la route, le trajet vers la plage fait 2,4 kms qu''il est possible d'effectuer à pied ou en utilisant notre navette de proximité de 9h00 à 17h00 tous les jours. Cordialement.

Krásné místo k odpočinku v zelené zahradě
Velmi krásný resort uprostřed zahrady, úžasný bazén, apartmány čisté a plně vybavené. Úklid každý den. Personál příjemný. Servis skvělý. Transfer do obchodu a na pláž zajištěn. Doporučujeme.
