"Good and pleasant stay, fridge was not working and the service was just a bit slow"

"We went from US to India for a week. I booked this place as it had good reviews. This is one of the best places in Surajkund but not the best. Place was okay but staff was very courteous about anything we needed. Breakfast was very good. This is a four star hotel. It’s not Taj it’s Vivanta by Taj😊. They had us a room on smoking floor and we had 2 kids. Floors in our room were sticky as the building was pretty old. Some areas were renovated and new like the lobby and some very old. Our safe got locked and SURMESH the guy who addressed every situation was awesome. He was always there with a smile on his face. He was so humble and respectful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a comfortable experience. Overall a good time. "

"The bed sheets were dirty. The curtains had blood stains on it. The shower door was broken and leaking water. The amenities were almost not present. The bed runners and the sofa were dilapidated and dusty. Overall a very big disappointment. "

"Wow! What a disappointment. I'm not a travel snob demanding 5* treatment at a budget hotel. I booked the Ginger Fariidabad with relatively low expectations but even as a seasoned traveller in India they exceeded all my expectations (in a bad way). Issues started when the airport transfer booked with them didnt show up. I called from the airport after waiting an hour to be told they hadn't arranged it afterall. What a shame, i got to know their trqnsport driver during my stay and he was very helpful. Collection from the airport should not have been an issue. On arrival i was given a tiny with a single bed, the bed frame was solid (unsprung) and the mattress was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes. The shower didnt work and the tap flooded the bathroom area when used. The toilet did work but the scrap of toilet roll left by previous guests was insufficient and not acceptable. These were relatively minor inconvenieces compared to the noise!! The hotel overlooks a very busy flyover and road junction. The constant road noise and beeping of horns 24 hours a day is intolerable by even the hardiest of travellers. It wasnt possible to award a 0 star review but test assured if it had been available I would have selected it. On the plus side, the food was OK and reasonably priced. Would i recommend this hotel? Definitely NO. Give it a wide berth."

"I checked into a very sub standard room where the AC was running full blast in the peak of Delhi winter and there was a smell in the bathroom. I was ready to walk out, but I commend the management and staff for insisting that I give them a chance. They shifted me to a MUCH better room where the heating actually worked. The breakfast buffet was very good for the price and the hotel was crowded which is a good sign. Average hotel but with excellent management and staff which makes up for everything. Its the people that make this property."

"The hotel is bad. Not cleaned. The toilet water overflows when you flush. We stayed ther in the family room with my wife and daughter, we moved out the next day and got another hotel. It's more like a brothel type Hotel. We still have to get a refund for my 3 nights we did not stay ther. This is a 1 star hotel. "
