Someone screwed up big time because my reservation was supposed to be for St Louis and come to find out it was for Fairmont and Illinois or something so someone needs to refund my money

Bed Bug Inn
My father and I woke up itching only to discover we were both covered in bed bugs. We both have bumps and welts on our sides and arms. We were able to get a new room but not any of our money back or even a discount on our two night stay. Now have to make an additional trip on our vacation to the nearest pharmacy to get cream for all the bites.

I get it it’s just ten dollars but this place keeps my deposit every time after saying I would get it back after my stay I filed a dispute first time and my bank fixed it but after going back to this place a couple times again i noticed that they are doing this still

Hotel needs help!
This place needs some serious help. The bed was actually very comfy...otherwise it would be 1 star. There was only one roll of TP for a 4 day stay. They begrudgingly gave another roll when asked. The people running the place have pretty much zero customer service skills. All in all the hotel needs to be refurbished...it is VERY run down. Nice bed and close to St Louis but those are the only positives unfortunately. 😐

Clean friendly safe
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Room was a little outdated, but clean, and beds were super comfy. Pillows were super squishy and 1 per person did not do the job. Not our favorite place but was our best option and we slept great.

Not trying to be a standard bad review but seriously, do not stay here, there were cockroaches all around the room including on one of the beds under the pillows, everything is taped back together, including the toilet seat and mirror. And to top it off i checked in at 2am and the guy at the counter tried to give me attitude because he had to wake up to help me and then told me i had reservation while i was clearly looking at a confirmation email. Dont waste your time in money, Sleeping in the car would be a better option

Decent hotel for the price. Rooms were clean, lot was well lit and its a convenient location to the racetrack. Don't be afraid of the surroundings or slightly sketch gas station.

Don’t stay at the First Western Innn.
The ceiling fan did not work nor the telephone. The remote on the TV would not fully work. We told the people at the hotel about these things and they said “oh we know”.

We had the king studio and it was actually in excellent condition for a really good price. Very convenient especially since it's connected to a gas station that literally has everything you need! Staff could be a little more welcoming but overall we really enjoyed ourselves

I just needed a place to crash outside of St Louis and this was perfect. A little noisy because of the trains and not in a great area that inspires safety, but clean enough and no issues with check in or check out (I left at 6am). Could have been cheaper for the quality but they were open and taking reservations after the scamdemic almost ran places like this out of business so its cool.
