Lovely staff and nice spot on the water.
Faggetto Lario is a charming area. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. The downside to the hotel was no air conditioning. The weather was quite hot (90+ degrees) and we had to keep windows open at all times. Due to the location of our room (street side) it was very loud (motorbikes, people talking, etc.). Otherwise a great value, nice restaurant, great staff.

Free parking. Large room with lovely lake views. Unfortunately Restaurant closed on day of arrival. Not easy to find and rather noisy until late due to bar/snack adjacent.

A Night to remember.....!
I booked a one night stay for May 27, we were traveling by car through Stelvio Pass towards Lake Como, due to some accidents and delay due to road construction when traveling through the mountains we were unable to be there by 7:30PM which is when check-in ends. During travel I attempted multiple times to get in touch with the hotel to inform them of the situation, all attempts from my cell phone failed due to lack of service. But we stopped twice, at 7:00PM and called the hotel from a land line at a restaurant, the phone just kept ringing with no one answering, neither was there an answering machine picking up to leave a message. We called again at 9:00PM from a restaurant with the same result, we arrived at the hotel at 2:00 in the morning finding it all closed up, when we called a number provided at the entrance someone picked up responded briefly and then hung up on us. We spend the rest of the night in the car. When communicating with the hotel afterwards through Expedia messaging no solution could be reached, the hotel stood by their policy, even after discussing that our late arrival was due to circumstances completely out of our control. The hotel offered we could stay a different night which was not possible for us, to find a fair solution for both parties I even offered the hotel to apply a 30% fee and refund the remainder of the reservation, my offer was ignored and the hotel chose not to respond.

Great escape
Great service, very accommodating staff. Great, quite location. Amazing view to the lake from the room. Rooms very clean, could use updating, but then would probably be in a different price range.

quiet hotel
Hotel in very pretty location and not too difficult to find by car.Access to lake ferry but limited availability. Found the bed and pillows very hard so took some time getting used to and was glad to get home to own bed. Attached restaurant with good quality food but quite expensive. No english speaking people employed in the hotel so could be awkward for non italian speakers if your not prepared to get by. Wi fi available but intermittent. Good continental breakfast but limited choice. Hospitable host and staff and reasonable value for money.

Fantastic view in a quiet place
We had a short stay on our way to Bonassola. Fantastic dinner at the restaurant, nice room with a good view to the lake and nice and clean room. We found an old path up the mountain where we could walk our dog - apart from that there were not many places to walk due to the steep mountain side and the narrow streets.

Ausstattung aus den 70er Jahren, das ganze Haus ist leicht muffig. Nachts konnten wir ca. 1 Stunde nicht schlafen, weil Möbel über Fliesen hin und her gerückt wurden.

A very Nice arena, and the host did allot to serve. But hotel Roms Are NOT ud to the standard to expect. Very poor beds(matress) tiny kitchen, With poor equipment. Hot Rooms, no ACC. Need to have Windows open allnight, and a very noicy road, made it difficult to sleep at all. Our 2 Rooms appartment was very little, only 4 old/hard chairs in entre appartment. No private outdoor area. The view and spared outdoor area was stunning - pool area needs an update though.

leuk typisch italiaans hotel
Heel eenvoudig hotel, met de benodigde faciliteiten op een kamer, prachtig uitzicht op het comomeer vanuit diverse kamers. Leuke ligging in een dorpje waar verder niets is, tegenover het hotel een klein strandje, gratis toegang, bedden € 5.-. Klein cafeetje op het strandje. In het hotel zit een goed restaurant (andere eigenaar) waar je heerlijk kunt eten met zicht op het comomeer en voor een schappelijke prijs. Via een hele steile weg met een paar haar speld bochten bereik je het hotel. Uitstekend hotel voor 1 of 2 nachten op doorreis !!

The hotel is very basic, but the location is nice if you want to have e very quiet place to stay for a few days to revover from the daily stress. The beach area is excellent! The espresso is great! but the madrass were very hard.

Hôtel situé face au lac de Côme, belle vue mais hôtel difficile d'accès: route sinueuse, dangereuse, impossible de croiser une voiture parfois. Hôtel à la déco vieillissant. Pas d'eau chaude le soir pour la douche vers 21H. Chambres bruyantes donnant sur le restaurant et la terrasse du restaurant: impossible de dormir avant 1H du matin et ce toute la semaine. Animations le week-end sur la petite plage: soirées encore très bruyantes. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel!

L'arbergo è situata in una bella posizione ma il resto... delusione sia con le camere e con lavantino rotto o toppato....matarazzi e cuscini vecchi servizio in camera uguale....bé se dovessi consigliare direi si trova di meglio il ristorante che poi non é dell'albergo ma di una gestione diversa é troppo cara per il servizio che danno

Det kan være megt vanskeligt at køre af de små veje op til hotellet. Men en fantastisk oplevelse og udsigt. Morgenbordet er ikke noget særligt, men ok. Fin for et par overnatninger, på den videre tur syd på eller for en romantisk weekend.
