This hotel is fine but BE AWARE, there is NO RESTAURANT in this hotel. At the time of writing this, the listing still states that a restaurant is available. Even the information booklet in each room states the same. As dining out is very limited in Eschborn, it is a stretch to class this hotel as 4 star.

Dear Julian, many thanks for your reply . Due to the low occupancy we need to decide, when we can open the restaurant or not. During the week we do have a bistro and Kukimi concept at the bar. Mercure Eschborn - good for business
Good standard overall. Service a bit slow and the restaurant not open in the evenings I have stayed there. Good breakfast!

Good for business in Eschborn
Location convenient if you have to work in the office monstrosity that is Eschborn - truly one of the dullest places on Earth. Customer service needs to improve. Apart from many staff being "stone-faced", on this occasion I had restaurant staff kind of clearing up around me, with windows opened wide in freezing weather as I came down for breakfast after peak time, as they were eager to set up for lunch, stopping me from sitting in a nice part of the restaurant. This is just one example of the clueless sense of customer care.

This place is clean and comfortable, I come here every week at the moment. My main complaint is the lack of variety of food and the menu never changes. Also, the water pressure in the showers is sometimes not great, although other times it is fine.

Great if you are working in Eschborn
This hotel is clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the office where I need to work in Eschborn right now for several weeks. The staff are not amazing, but they are polite. The food is good quality, but it is a little over-priced and lacking in variety. It is difficult to eat a decent meal within putting on a ton of weight, because everything is very rich and/or heavy.

About midway between city center and the airport

Comfortable for business.
Everything was pretty convenient. Good location if on business in Eschborn - also close to S-bahn if you need. Breakfast is fine although overpriced. Dinner is also overpriced, good quality but not much variety if, like me, you have to come here a lot on business. Watch out for Wi-Fi charges. You need to sign up to get free Wi-Fi and make sure they give you free access per device per night. One of the reception staff was rude and reluctant on this point.

Great hotel close to public transportation
This hotel was clean and the rooms were pretty good. There is a train station 1/2 mile away and a few cute restaurants in the neighborhood. Keep in mind that not all reservations include breakfast, which can add up fast. The breakfast is a great buffet style, however without it included in your reservation, the cost is 19 euro per day.

The only reason I chose this hotel was because it was all that was available. The room was very small but clean. No free WiFi in room. Breakfast was outrageously expensive (19 euro). It was an overnight stopover for my return flight to the States. Most likely I will not stay here again. The room rate was ridiculously jacked up because of events going on in Frankfurt. Also, there are no other options nearby for dinner. I will say that dinner at the Hotel was quite good, albeit expensive.

Hotel rates were reasonable, but everything else was exorbitantly priced. 19 Euros for breakfast is way too high even by European standards. WiFi for 24 hours cost 10 Euros. The hotel closed on 12/23, which I did not know until I checked in because the desk sent an e-mail to another person with my name. They were nice about moving me to Mercure East at no charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was nicely furnished and very clean. Location is conveniently near to train into Frankfurt. I enjoyed my stay despite obstacles.

Das Frühstück hat uns nicht geschmeckt. Der Aufschnitt schmeckte nach nichts, die Salate ebenso. Die Speisekarte zum Abendessen haben wir nicht verstanden - englisches Kauderwelsch. Die Hälfte der dann ausgesuchten Gerichte gab es nicht. Der Rest ging so! Das Zimmer hatte Flair und war gut, sogar ein Wasserkocher und ein Kühlschrank war vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
