Great hotel next to beach
We only stayed one night, but the staff were friendly, the breakfast and location excellent. The rooms are quite small, but clean and they have coffee / tea making facilities

I have stayed at this hotel three times over the past few years. I enjoy the quality of service on the property and the peaceful atmosphere of the grounds. In previous years I was provide free pickup service and free transportation back to the airport following checkout. This time I was charged for the return trip which was a surprise to me. It would be good if there is a change in policy for tourists to be informed in advance. Perhaps adding this to the website and companion apps would avoid any surprises in the future. All in all, I had a good experience at this hotel and will return again when I need a rest stop between flights.

The hotel name definitely reflects its ethos!! Great friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is traditional and rustic. It’s an ideal spot to relax after a long flight. The restaurant opposite serves fabulous food at a good price. There’s a decent breakfast to start your day and an area by a small pool to chillax. We couldn’t fault this hotel. A great 2 night stay, thank you 🙏

Great location right at the beach, super friendly and helpful staff (I was going to arrive after the kitchen closed and they worked with me via whatsapp to order some food and have it for me). Really pretty property and comfortable, clean rooms. Good food!

It is very well located. In front of Lake Victoria. Clean property perfect for stays before and after safaris. Staff are very kind. Good breakfast. Good supper next to the lake in the hotel restaurant. Bring DEET. Happy to stay here again. Very safe.

The place was nice and the peuple were very friendly. Loved the quietness of the place. Just have 2 wait 5 minutes before hot water comes...plenty of once of once it arrives. Recommend!

The staff here were wonderful! Greeted me at the airport for my arrival, at a late hour, and kindly stopped at an ATM machine for me on the way to the hotel. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, and a hot breakfast served. My stay was only about 8 hours, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Great place in front of lake Victoria
This property is very well managed. I can't say enough about how friendly the employees were. The setting in front of Victoria Lake is beautiful including the beach nar they have. Small but inviting pool and the food was always delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel pool is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is good. The best part of 2Friends is the amazing accommodating and hard working staff. The staff make this hotel 5 Star Luxury

Friendly staff
I have always enjoyed my stays at 2 Friends Beach Resort. The bathrooms are a little run down and no AC after long travel is a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, it is a cute little place at a reasonable price with a little restaurant right on the lake and a cute little pool. The staff is great as well.

The facilities are immaculately maintained, the site is great and the beach side sitting area and restaurant is a highlight. What impressed me the most however was how engaging and friendly all the staff are. It feels like a family run hotel where the welcome is contagious.

Nice Hotel in a Quiet Spot
Patrick was a very welcoming and engaging host. He provided an excellent level of service and great conversation. The area is very quiet. The hotel is very clean and breakfast was fine. Not enough time to sample the beach unfortunately.

Great hotel and a very friendly welcome , the owner Hendrik was very welcoming . They gave us a complementary drink . The food was also nice , looking forward to staying here again .

I had the pleasure of staying at 2 Friends hotel twice. As such I got to experience both the standard room and the upgraded room with AC and a terrace. Both were great- the standard was very spacious and the upgraded room was enjoyable with a nice view. Over everything else the people made the stay especially nice. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond - before my stay when I had a few questions about storing a bag and logistics as well as during the stay. I could recommend 2 Friends to my friends and family.

Good location/ friendly atmosphere.
Only two brief one-night stays linking two elements of a holiday. Welcoming and friendly. First room a bit small but lovely room with balcony for second visit. Not far from airport and free transfers. Free drink on arrival which is a very nice touch. Short walk to local shopping mall. Only problem I had was that for some reason I couldn't access my emails on either occasion though I had wifi and could access the internet . Had no such issues elsewhere, so it's a mystery!
