"This cabin was the best. The views were amazing, the upstairs was cozy, and there was enough space for my family of three to stretch out and feel comfortable. It's out of the way enough that we felt like we were in our own space, but not too far away from Akureyri. "Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!"

"Check in was easy. The cottage is very lovely with nice windows in all directions. We also got to enjoy the peaceful outdoor hot tub as well. Host communication was excellent. We were sort of stuck because there was an overnight snow storm. But host came to clear the snow for us very quickly. Overall we loved and enjoyed very much of our stay."
