The air conditioning in this hotel does not work. You are not able to set the temperature. Reported to front desk but no one from maintenance works on weekends so we were offered a noisy fan. Also the shower water pressure is very very very low. Not much more than a trickle. The food at the restaurant was good but they need another coffee machine.

I booked because I had an early flight and in contrast with other hotels around this one has an indoor pool, however, the pool was full of children in a class so not a lot of chance to relaxed quietly there. I also had to work and decided to bring my laptop to the restaurant, which at that moment was crowded with a Scottish wedding (pipes and all). The room was bigger than expected, although old fashioned and the tv did not work. I could hear noise in the hallway. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and the hotel is close to a bus stop to the airport and a very convenient shopping mall.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service staff good at their jobs. The only issue was the TV in the room had no signal and although we mentioned it , nothing was done.

The hotel on the whole wasn't too bad, but given the brand, reputation and cost, we felt disappointed. The revolving doors need sorting out. The bedroom was an excellent size with very comfy beds. There were no storage drawers in the room The shower screen did not prevent water from flowing onto the floor. We used the towels to mop this up. The non slip surface on the bath was not non slip, so getting in and out was precarious The equipment in the gym needs to be upgraded, the covers on most of the workout benches and seats were cracked or broken, so not hygienic at all. The floor in the ladies changing room in the spa area was saturated, and had clumps of long hair on the floor. The sense of poor hygiene seemed to be a real issue. The quality and choice of food for breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very attentive. The location of the hotel was great, very close to the airport, but not in the flypath. The bus stops into the city centre were a few minutes walk away, which made getting around very easy. The buses ran 24/7

There was a very long queue to check in and not enough staff! It was also VERY VERY SLOW, staff didn’t apologise for keeping guests waiting! Worse - after all that the key fob given didn’t work!! Tried to telephone and NO ONE ANSWERED. So had to go down to reception again int the long queue to get a new key.

This property is far away from city center. You have to request for your room to be serviced and even if you do submit your request it will not be cleaned or serviced. We submitted the room to be cleaned and service again to find out that they did not even replaced the almost gone toilet paper and did not take away dirty wine glasses. Expensive, not convenient and poor service.

A fabulous idea it was visiting your lovely hotel. Great value and convenience for our final night in Scotland, will absoloutely recommend. The pool and spa facilities were a very pleasant surprize. Thankyou

Outside of the building looks pretty new however inside rooms are dated and require work. First room toilet wouldn’t work second room we went in it was just dated bathroom needs attention easy fixes are visible doesn’t look ascetically pleasing. Staff where nice pool area needs full re vamp as steam room seem to be not working sauna was old and damaged. Place just needs good clean and better touch up.

Great hotel but could be better
Overnight whilst attending the rugby at Murrayfield. Handy for parking and transport. When we got into the room at night wished to watch TV but it kept switching off and same again in morning. Reported it - room 314- at checkout and were told nothing could be done as it’s the weekend and no maintenance staff. Receptionist didnt really seem that interested and not overly apologetic. Lovely room but need better pillows (1 not enough and 2 too much) and duvet certainly would have seen better days. Down at bottom of each section. Shame as room was great spacious well decorated

4 stars because we went for a night just to enjoy the spa as on the website it was written that it closes at 9pm,we arrived at 6:30 and they informed as that it’s closing at 7..so we did not use the spa at all as we left the next morning.

Decent hotel for an overnight stay, noisy rooms with lots of sounds from corridors and adjoining rooms. Very basic offering (additional fee to park in their car park, additional fee for WiFi, etc)

The car park needs urgent attention due to numerous potholes. I wasn't charged for parking this time, as I was ladt December. Rooms are adequate, but charges for food and drink are extortionate. We had 1 pizza and a portion of chips to share. We also had 2 glasses of Malbec each and the bill was over £77. I consider £13.50 for a glass of wine to be very very high. I can buy 2 bottles of decent wine for that price. Very disappointed and unhappy with the costs.

Excellent Stay
Friendly welcome at check in. Lovely spacious room with a wonderful separate bath and shower. Good breakfast although as in most hotels that don’t provide table service to order the “hot” food becomes cold very quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening meals within the bar. Efficient checkout. Will certainly return.

A good base for a trip to Edinburgh.
We stayed while visiting our son in Edinburgh. The room was good. The hotel Gym and Swimming pool etc are a really good facility. Staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in using the hotel next time we are in Edinburgh. It was a good price and access into town on public transport easy.

Property was a distance from most places, but did not find this too much of an issue and taxis were readily available and the hotel and staff were 5 star. Buses and trams easy to get to. Highly recommend

Great hotel for exploring Edinburgh
Stayed here for a few nights over the new year and it was perfect for what we needed. Really good location for being close to the airport but also a short walk to the local tram line for getting in and out of the city. The hotel itself was great, staff were all attentive and helpful. The pool and spa facilities were a great extra to have after a long day of walking. Rooms were clean and tidy, was nice to have a bath tub in the room. Overall a great experience!

Hotel facilities were great. Swimming pool was nice. Breakfast had a good variety of selection. Location is good to travel in to city centre which took us around 20 minutes to get in to.
