"The hotel is clean, quiet and in a great area for walking to shops, food and attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The only issues we had was upon arrival was the dispenser for body soap in the shower was empty and there was only decaf coffee pods available for keurig in room. Both were quickly fixed by the amazing staff. Would definitely stay here again."

"It seems well run & has beautiful decor. Rooms & bed were very comfortable. Restaurant service is quite slow. Food is better than average just save plenty of time & ask for what u want long before u need it! "

"The Marcus Whitman is a great place to stay as it is within walking distance of most everything in the downtown area. My only negative comment was about the bathrooms. The sink is a pedestal and there is no place to put anything except some narrow shelves. I had to put some of my things on the bathroom floor. A small chest or even just simple shelves would make storing your things so much easier."
