We liked the location and the old style building and rooms and keys. Very close to a nice authentic German restaurant and very authentic and quiet neighbourhood.

Very convenient for three family members.
We absolutely loved the fact that we could get a triple single- bed room as my sisters and I were traveling together. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed being able to share the expenses of one room versus two. The only thing that was a little inconvenient was the small shower. But, for one night, we endured it.

Great stay in Dusseldorf
The front desk manager was awesome! He was very helpful and informative. Spent a lot of time with us. The room was great too. Extremely big for European standards. Pleasantly surprised.

A small inexpensive hotel
Arriving around midnight we found access no problem. A pleasant unpretentious room and an excellent continental breakfast was available.

The hotel was prepaid on hotels.com but the hotel did not charge the credit card when I checked in but they found out about the mistake and charged the right card.

Good for a night close to the Airport
Free wifi, parking and breakfast. Next to a doner shop and a cafe/bar. Didn't try either. Close to the hotel, nice staff. Nothing really negative to say!

Great little hotel , the old fashioned style
Stayed for one night on the way back home. Close to the airport, nice neighborhood , very nice and spacious room. Great breakfast . Very recommend . Pls note they don't have an elevators but its only 3 floors I believe .

Awesome stay
We (3 adults in a triple) had a great stay here. It is a perfect location with available parking and walking distance from the train. You can do all you want in the city (or even Koln) and stay at a quiet place outside. Breakfast was great, room was large and had character, internet worked well.

Perfect when you have an early flight!
I came 23 in the evening and left 6 in the morning for an early flight from DUS. Couldn't have chosen a better solution for this. Especially when it's prepaid.

Hotel Calton Mayfair, More for the money
This Hotel was a nice surprise for a last night in Germany. Close to Dusseldolf airport and 10 minutes to Old town Dusseldolf itself. A block from the metro. Quiet, clean and larger than most for the money. I will certainly return.

J'avais réservé sur agoda J'ai eu la surprise de devoir payer 100 euros de plus a mon arrivée pour deux jours pas cool sinon le personnel est gentille petit hotel propre mais pas de distributeur de boisson ou nourriture a l interieur par contre a cote de l hotel deux snacks proche du magasin aldi ou pharmacie

Thank you for your comments about us. We don't have our own restaurant, but there are 4 restaurants and different kind of shops very close to the hotel. The additional cost is for an upgrade of your room and breakfast.

Der Gast beschädigte das Zimmer, was uns viel Arbeit/Geld kostete und war nicht bereit, für den Schaden aufzukommen. Aufgrund der Schäden konnten wir das Zimmer 3 Tage lang nicht verkaufen. Wenn wir diesem Gast einen Kommentar geben könnten, bevorzugen wir 0 Punkte. Wir haben diesen Gast bereits zu unserer Blacklist hinzugefügt

Gute Lage zu Messe und Altstadt, Ein kleines Haus mit aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern, sauber und für unseren Anspruch passend. Leider kein Lift, aber zu bewältigen.

Hotel sehr nah an den Messehallen
Direkt an der Messe (5 Minuten zu Fuß). Sehr schön ist der japanische Garten direkt vor dem Hotel. Gute Speiselokale in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

Heel leuk verblijf hier gehad in dit kleinschalig hotel. Dichtbij metro , restaurants op wandelafstand. Ruime kamer met goede bedden, veel opbergruimte. Kleine attentie op bed. Vriendelijk personeel en heel net. Gekoelde dranken eventueel beschikbaar in gang. Goeie douche met lekker warm water. Handdoeken ruiken aangenaam fris en zijn superzacht. Ontbijt in buffetvorm was beperkt maar heel lekker. Geen lift aanwezig.Gratis parking voor de deur.

The accomodation was ok for the price, it was clean and so...not it's not in the city but a bit far. Regarding the services, this was the weirdest personal I see in my life (I'm frequent traveler): Well, I was supposed to come late, so I call the hotel 7pm to announce that I will arrive midnight, the lady was nice on phone she explained that I've to use the bell so the guy on the line will open the door and I should find the key in the reception. When I arrived, I bell , no one answering, so I had to call, but the guy on the phone was so angry and saying that I'm calling on mid-night !!! Then the day after, I went down for breakfast is was so poor with some market biscuits...no one there to ask... Then I got a cleaning lady on my table asking me to leave before 11am because she has to clean the room and go for other job...

We consider comments very seriously and try to improve our service and strategy for the future guests. This comment won`t help us to improve our service as it is one-sided. We kept the reception especially attended till midnight as the guest informed us to check in until midnight. The Guest Arrived at 02:15 in the morning. The guest came for breakfast at 09:15 though Breakfast is until 09:00 a.m.. The Guest checked out late though check out is until 11:00 a.m. We respect guest comments and try our best to make our guests feel happy and enjoy their stay with us. It is only possible when both side have better understanding and are fair to each other.

Einfach, aber OK.
Sehr einfaches Hotel; der Preis ist durch die Nähe zur Messe wohl gerechtfertigt. Wir waren privat in Düsseldorf, und das Hotel war nur eine Straße von unseren Freunden entfernt. Die Zimmer nach hinten sind ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und funktional. Die Straßenbahn fährt direkt vor der Tür.
