The Cassidys Hotel is close to transportation and attractions. There is little need for cars and taxis in that area. There were also several good restaurants in the area. I found the room to be a bit cramped and the housekeeping staff should have been more conscientious, but it is a satisfactory hotel for enjoying Dublin.

The room itself was very nice, no real issue other than small bathroom and no facecloths being provided. The issue we had was that the walls are very thin, which led to being woken several times throughout the night. Other than this, the staff is very kind and friendly, and the bar/restaurant is great too.

Unfortunately we were woken from 1am to 5am with furniture moving in the room above. Also ordered balloons, banner and cake for a birthday but sadly really disappointed with 7 deflated balloons and banner, not in the colours requested.

It was adequate for a short stay. Conveniently close to tours and walkable location. Nothing was especially clean or well maintained. The sheets were stained, glassware dirty and no ventilation in the restroom. The staff were wonderful, polite and helpful. Overall it did the job but nothing special.
