Good value in strategic but not touristy area
Location is not a key area for tourists but actually good strategically because it is near to some key Metro stations that allow you to easily visit the more touristy places, without paying touristy prices. Room itself was fine, had a problem with water leaking from the ceiling but maintenance fixed it quickly. Pity that the balconies are not in use. Cleaning staff were super helpful and friendly, was a pleasure to have the help of cleaner (MD Juboraj) each day, checking to see if I needed water or clean towels, etc.

It was nicely located to the stores, restaurants and Metro.They need to improve the bathroom coz when you shower the water splashes all over the floor. They should put a longer sidedoor or a curtain. Also the kitchen under the sink should be improved, it stink and have cockroaches. Other than that I enjoyed staying there and the staffs are nice and friendly.

It is a dirty and tired hotel. The photos on-line are misleading. The furniture in the room was worn, scratched and faded with chipped corners etc. The floors are not clean. I could not walk in bare feet. There was also a bug in there bathroom. Even the corridors are in bad shape. I rarely post s review. But beware: this is not a place to stay on your vacation!!!

Nice apartment - needs more thorough cleaning!
Property was well situated but needs more attention to cleaning. Lifts in constant use but I did not see them being sanitised. Permittee wall of the pool was dirty, dusty and had a lot of pigeon pooh on it. The pool terrace was cleaned daily and the pool water was perfect

Star Metro is the best
I had a very nice time at Star metro, everything is good, the location, the cleanliness of rhe rooms, and the service of staff is excellent. Norizel at the front desk is very professional and is always friendly, also Bikash with housekeeping is the best, always friendly and keeps my room cery clean. I am very grateful to them, thank you.

We enjoyed our stay, the house keeping Khurshid was on point he make sure our room was well kept, also the front desk particularly Jude was very helpful. I will definitely be going back there next time I visit.

The room is ok , only to find out that the beedsheets they used are dirty, they provide only 1 towel, I called the housekeeping and reception 10x before they will answer my call.

We had a 20 night stay and we got free upgrade for 3 nights. krushib the house keeper was very diligent at cleaning taking every little details into consideration The room service breakfast didnt work fo our group(5 of us) and the hotel arranged for buffet breakfast at neighbouring ramada hotel Our stay was overall pleasant with close proximity to metro and many shops

Great Place to stay I stayed at Metro star hotel with My son. The location is great, very close to metro station. Conveniently located for anyone interested in doing shopping and experience the daily life dubai in Deira area. The Best thing about this Hotel is the Staff, who have gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as Home. The hotel staff were so friendly and swift in attending to my issues with regard to room, and related amenities. I would love to pass my heartfelt thanks to the whole staff @ Star metro and especially Jabeer, Front Desk manager, Robin, the House Keeper Manager, Kaisera from Wellness Center and last but not least Asok, from cleaning department. Thanks you to the exceptional Staff @ Star Metro. You guys are awesome!!

Staff very friendly and helpful, decor is dated and needs to be addressed as well as gym, 3 machines were not working and the ones that were should really be replaced, No jacuzzi which was a shame, but swimming pool maintained. Rooms cleaned daily and coffee/tea maker refilled as well as water given which was great. Location great 5 mins walk from Salah Al Din Metro and reef mall opposite, Al Ghurair mall short walking distance. Bus stop right outside If you want to travel to and from Sharjah E303

The staff, really helpful and very friendly Good value for money and spacious rooms 1 bedroom apartment is very spacious fantastic feeling, hotel is close to Airport, opposite Reef mall , and lots of Restaurant and other mall and local shops and supermarket.
