I am disappointed .. if you want yo relax by the beach , its not possible .. There is a bar and night club very close to hotel called Zero Gravity .. my god , ıI have never heard such a loud music .. they start in the morning and they continue until 3.00 am in the morning .. even the sound proof windows don't work .. I called the police to report incredibly loud music but that didn't solve the problem either .. The hotel is very nice , it has a beautiful garden but the loud music is enough to destroy your vacation ..

The resort and facilities are nice and updated. The service was a little spotty. While some of the service staff are gems, some other employees just stay there or do the bare minimum. On our first night, we were faced with the situation where the hotel was hosting a Christmas dinner and the sound and music was really loud until 10:30 pm. There was no notice this was going to be happening. The next day, there was music again until 8 pm, and no electricity for a part of the day. To me it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. Other facilities were good.

Wonderful green territory, despite proximity to Marina the beach is very quiet and clean. The staff is very nice, and the service was great. Would recommend for family vacation.

Make sure to have a room facing the ocean, the rooms facing the back have a really terrible view and a LOT of background noise from the factory / industry building located behind.

Wonderful few days at the hotel, always a very relaxed and comfortable hotel. The staff are wonderful and food options superb. The beds and pillows are like sleeping in a cloud! As the grounds and pools are extensive there is always a lounger, sun and shade available. This hotel amazes me on its constant cleanliness and attention to detail. We will be back again.

This is an amazing hotel and I will definitely return here. I came as a family with my wife and daughter and we had a great time. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and respectable. The hotel is clean throughout and has great on site restaurants as well as amazing kids club. The room was cleaned once a day and then the staff would could round again to make sure everything was okay and if anything else was needed. The only issue can be the WiFi at time which I hope will be improved. Perefectly located at the start of JBR so you do not get caught up traffic

I chose to stay here recently because of all the wonderful reviews and now I understand why. The staff are lovely. They cannot do enough to help. Whatever you need, they will try their best. The rooms are lovely - stayed in a tower king room overlooking the resort - I loved the balcony and the plush decor in the room. I spent my days just laying by the pool, all the staff there were wonderful and were always on hand to help with beds or drinks and snacks. The hotel is in a great location just near to the marina. There’s a supermarket right outside and a taxi rank that’s constantly full of cabs so it’s ridiculously easy to come and go. This hotel is quite busy though! I didn’t expect there to be so many people laying by the pool in August, I always found Dubai to be quiet at this time of year but from speaking to a local taxi driver he said this resort is always busy. I think that’s just testament to the staff and how relaxed and welcoming the atmosphere is.

Nice hotel. Reasonable cost for Dubai.
We have been going to Dubai literally for 40 years. Nice hotel Recent refurbish, it looks like. One tower being done at the moment. Check-in staff were friendly. Customer service lady in reception was very helpful. The pool area does not bring you small bottles of water like you get elsewhere in other hotels. That was a disapointment as they could filer and bottle it themselves at negligeable cost. Breakfast buffet is 8/10 compared to other countries, but a 6/10 compared to other Dubai hotels. But is certainly adequate. service by pool staff was non-existant unless you went to the bar. Maybe because we were on the end of the row, I don't know. But much better pool service elsewhere. Not allowed to have a small bowl of nuts at the pool bar incase you drop any in the pool, the guy told us. We can presume we were trusted, like young children might not be. Quite odd. The hotel is a good location for JBR and marina walks in the evening - especially if just Bed & Breakfast as loads of places to eat along the strip and at the marina. We have stayed at tens of different hotels over th eyars. This was outr 4th or 5th stay in the Meridien. The good parts were let down by silly negatives. But the usual question - would we stay there again. It is a 'Yes'. But we will see how that stay goes.

This hotel has been brilliant for years! An oasis amongst the new tower blocks surrounding it but which do not detract from it. All the staff are fabulous from cleaners to managers - always friendly, attentive but not overbearing and very helpful. My 14/15th visit and o know there will be many more.
