Good Place to Stay
I chose this as this was 4 star and it was near to Metro station. I had no complaints. I booked online and it was cheaper. I got a room on the upper floor so there was no such noise from the cafe downstairs.

the location is very good but music sound of hotel club was crazy by 3AM at least at the floor which my room was .also hotel took 30 DHS as tax ! also I have asked expedia Im going to pay hotel fee onsite by cash , but ...!!

It was very nice. Princess the receptionist was very nice and upgraded me, however now with their new policy of charging for early checking in, I will have search for another hotel that allows early check in.

I arrived early and was accommodated with a smoking room first available. Princess the receptionist apologized for the inconvenience and upgraded me to a nicer roomy room.

I was great. The cleaning was superb, everyday changing the towels, cleaning the whole room and tacking extra attention to my needs. I would like to thank the nice Abigaël for her extraordinary care in my room and making sure to make it in the best shape everyday.

Great value for money. The reception staff were very friendly. The housekeeping was very good. The maintenance were very responsive. It needs soms renovations but working fine.

A very good hotel!
Excellent service!! All the people in this hotel were very nice and helpfull!! Room is very nice, breakfast and dinner were great and there is a gym and a pool at the rooftop. Al rigga metro station is 5 minutes walk or you can find a taxi in the street in 5 minutes.

Need renovation & pest control
I’ll start by saying that if I had a refundable reservation I would have left the 2nd night! The rooms are in desperate need for renovation, not sure if the furniture is old or they are trying to pull off a classic style, but for sure their showers, tubs, seats, flush & shower curtains need to be changed. Stayed 2 nights in the first room: Shower handle broken, can’t use the tub to relax as the water holder doesn’t work, remote control not working. I asked them to change the room after the first night they said they dnt have availability & that they will fix the problems. They changed the remote, it still ddnt work, the 3rd day I stopped having hot water. It is when I insisted to change the room and if they dnt have availability they can give me my money & I can go somewhere else. Room 2 I stayed 7 nights: Better than first room but still the bathroom needs renovation. To note that in both rooms I had cockroaches! & when I complained abt that they said they sprayed but can’t do anything more... several times I had to go back down to reactivate my key card. Not sure how they are operating a 4 stars hotel. Food not bad, though they dnt have diet cola only regular lol. Location is in older part of Dubai. Parking is available Supermarket around the corner Have a gym and pool but I Ddnt use. The staff tried to help & are friendly, but that’s not enough to run a hotel

The room was clean and modern on a non smoking floor. The lobby and hotel bar were smoke filled. Hotel staff was awful with service and fixing my reservation to accommodate me. They stated they didn't have the room type (king size and twin) i requested at their location and also wanted to charge me for more adults in the room, which i tried to inquire about before the trip but did not get an answer. Seeing that me and 3 other adults were headed back to the United States in about 5 hours we were not actually spending the night. We needed a room to refresh and somewhere safe for our luggage. After i did not accept getting more rooms they finally allowed me to leave the luggage in their car and gave me a room with ONE bed for just me.

Always enjoy staying here. I arrived early from a long 14 hour flight and my room wasn’t ready. Princess the receptionist took the extra mile to upgrade my room so that I didn’t have to wait couple oh hours in the lobby. Many thanks.

Great service
The staff was very very helpful. I arrived early due to change in travel plans with my two 6and nine year old daughters who were very tired from the long trip. The staff found us a room right away. The girls really enjoyed their stay and the pool was great to spend time there.

A very nice and clean facility. All the employees were very nice, friendly, and willing to help at any time. Property is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and metro. It is very quiet at night and no problem getting a good nights sleep.

It’s was not clean at all. There were dirty towels under the bed frame and the beds looked like they hadn’t been cleaned at all. Overall would not recommend.

This hotel doesn’t do justice to the holiday inn brand. One of the worst experiences I ever had to deal with! There was no running hot water for my stay of 4 days, I was told the “engineers” were working on and it should be done fixed within few hours (same reason by all different employees as if they were trained to reply accordingly) room cleaning service - Unreliable extra towels and any other items you need will require two or three phone call reminders to the front desk Not staying in this hotel again!

The room and local hallway stunk of bug spray; good to think that the hotel was making sure that no little critters would bother us but the odor of this spray was over powering; at first my wife insisted on a different room; the staff was very helpful, helped us move to a room that stunk less. But that room was much older, was not updated and not nearly as good a room. So my wife asked to move back to the first room, which we were able to do. She liked that room much better and got used to the powerful bug spray smell. Staff very helpful, a pleasant visit.

It was right in the heart of the city! I was able to shop, eat and sleep in a very short space of time. The staff at the Holiday Inn Downtain Hotel was excellent. Service was also excellent, including the housekeeping and room service staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

From start to finish, the staff was wonderful!! Initially, I wanted a non-smoking room. I couldn't get one until the following day. The toilet in the first room did not flush well but the second room made up for it! As I said, from start to finish, the staff was wonderful!! Thank you!!

Amazing Staff..Meenu at Reception was an absolute super star. Meade me feel like I was coming home. Breakfast was good but could use a bit of an uplift on variety. even though a full bus load of tourist arrived the same time I did. The check in was painless and super fast
