"I'm writing this review to details my 1 week stay in this hotel. I booked the biggest room with a balcony. Location : 5/5, the hotel sits right in the middle of cairo in a very strategic location. You can find supermarket, metro stations, electronics stores, and many local restaurants nearby. You wouldn't need a cab or a car to discover the area around you. Just know that it's a very lively area, so if you're not into that you might want to consider another place. I personally prefer it since...

"I was very impressed with this hotel. I had stayed before at other downtown hotels in Cairo and I would say this is by far the best one. It was very clean, renovated and nice staff. Nice rooms, very good breakfast, nice bathrooms with complete showers. It has everything you need and more. Very close to places to eat and the Egyptian museum. I would come back and recommend it for sure to any one. Worth the price. I’m not sure why it better rate it. "

From the moment we enter the property, it was pitch dark, room door was not lockable, room was cramped with maximum beds so literally no space to walk or keep ur luggage. Elecrical outlets were all broken so can't charge ur devices. washrooms were out in the hallway, not at all suitable for family or with kids, no privacy as such.
