This is definitely a budget hotel. No proper reception or staff. Check in is at a coffee shop next door. This should be made more prominent in the property description in Expedia. Hotel is in the shopping district so that was nice.

Location of this property is great. Parking is horrible though, you have to park in public parking which gets expensive. Rooms are spotless, but very simple. Beds are not that comfortable, and they don’t have a traditional blanket. Check in is interesting as you’re checking in at a cash register at a coffee shop. Breakfast is expensive for what you get, however their croissants are amazing. Staff is very nice.

Simple but practical and functional rooms and the location is great. The coffee was brilliant but we ran out of tissues and the box in the bathroom was never replaced (I didn't aske because I don't think one needs to ask, it should be spotted by housekeeping). The beds were "turned" everyday but the cushions were not put back on the bed

Wouldn't stay here again.
Dortmund is a nice enough city but there isn't a great deal to do. It would be nice for one night perhaps but 3 nights was a bit too long. The hotel was fine. It was clean. I booked a king size bed however the bed did not seem king size. On reception I was asked to pay for the room however it had been pre-paid. This is the third time this has happened with hotels.com. The hotel is attached to a Coffee Shop which is a large chain in Germany. The coffee shop is quite expensive in comparison with other coffee shops in the area. The staff in the shop weren't very friendly however the check in staff were. The rooms lacked the little items that make your stay more comfortable. There was no kettle or coffee etc. Considering it's attached to a coffee shop that is disappointing. The pillows were probably the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever slept on. The room was also very bright as the curtains fit badly.....one even kept falling off the runner!

Hidden gem
Great location, right in the centre but still quiet and peaceful. Modern furnishings of a higher than expected quality. Immaculately clean and well presented. Very comfortable bed. Convenience of coffee shop downstairs is a real bonus.

Dortmund’s answer to ‘Central Perk’
The hotel was perfect. Coffee shop below to chill out in! A bit like “Friends”! We travelled specifically to see Dortmund and we were very happy! Lovely menu, nice location in the city centre and we got a “MyTaxi” from the airport which is a similar concept to Uber. Would recommend to anyone staying there!

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, mit dem Frühstück waren wir nicht zufrieden. Sehr begrenzte Auswahl, teilweise keine Schälchen für Marmeladen und fehlendes Besteck. Die Brötchen zäh oder zu hart. Magarine schwamm in aufgelösten Eiswürfeln.

Hallo Sven, wir haben seit dem 01.05. einen Pächterwechsel vorgenommen. Das Frühstück und der Coffeeshop gehören nun wieder zum Hotel. Daher wird das Frühstück auch wieder besser und mit mehr Vielfalt angeboten. Wir hoffen, dir hat es dennoch gut bei uns gefallen.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und ruhig obwohl mitten in der Stadt liegt. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, praktisch und funktionell. Für einen Aufenthalt von 2,3 Tagen sehr gut, wenn es länger sein soll dann vielleicht nicht so gut weil man praktisch aus dem Koffer leben muss. Es gibt keine Schränken wo man seine Kleidung einrichten kann, in dem Zimmer befinden sich nur Regale. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden gewesen und würde das Hotel wieder buchen. Der unteren Bereich der als Empfang, Rezeption und Kaffee/Frühstück Raum funktioniert, dort hat mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen. Es ist eine kalte Einrichtung in allen Hinsichten. Vor dem Hotel, sollte das Wetter mitmachen, ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert mit Schönheitsfehlern.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super zentral. Das Hotel war genau wie beschrieben, sauber, schön, modern eingerichtet, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Gerne buchen wir wieder hier, beim nächsten Städtetrip.
