Warm friendly welcome. Helpful staff Food was excellent we had breakfasts (wonderful choices) and a couple of evening meals. The quality was first class. Accommodation was spot on with daily cleaning and clean towels etc. Also a very communal friendly atmosphere in the bar day and night.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Room was clean and tidy with a stunning view. Restaurant food was excellent for the evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and will certainly come back if travelling to NI again.

Great stay
Lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We had a triple room which was fine, comfortable beds, amazing views to the front over the harbour. The bathroom was clean but maybe needs a little tlc. We weren't aware until two days before our stay that filming for Hope Street was happening, so couldn't go into the pub or restaurant at all, which was disappointing as we enjoy the food and atmosphere there. Ate in Harbour and Company instead and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was in pier 36, which was very good. So many young staff who are so well trained, friendly and efficient. Overall a great stay - hopefully next time we're back we'll have access to the restaurant.

The Commodore
Nice location. Room wad a bit tired and as on a business trip, could have done with a desk but landlord very accommodating and used the pub. Ad a fan of Hope Street it wss good to stay in The Commodore and see some of tye props. Rooms no good for those with dodgy legs as stairs are steep. Food was excellent and can recommend the Eggs Royale for breakfast.

We stayed just one night here and it was fabulous. We know the restaurant having dined here on several occasions when staying with relatives in Donaghadee. The food is wonderful. But this time we also stayed overnight and had the most comfortable night's sleep, our bedroom overlooking the harbour and the sea. The most important thing is that the staff are so friendly and helpful. As we were leaving early in the morning for a flight it would have been good to have an early relaxed breakfast (before 8am) but I was still able to enjoy a quick avocado mash at 08.15...so all was not lost.

Didn't actually stay. Hotels.com showed me it was 27 miles from where I wanted to be the next day, with one room left. I booked in good faith, (it was for the next night) only to find it was the other side of the Irish sea. The Hotel wouldn't cancel, but said they would if Hotels.com released the date. They (hotels) said they couldn't w/o the hotel's say so and said they wouldn't.I doubt I will use Hotels.com again

Superb!
Friendly helpful staff with nothing too much trouble. Great room - clean, roomy & great views over the harbour. Food superb - able to cater beautifully for a vegan too. Couldn't fault our stay & would highly recommend

Great one night break. Comfy clean room fab view over the seafront Dinner was great Steaks(not our usual choice) we're perfect Most impressive thing was the staff Excellent service. We will be back
