The hotel room had a fridge, which was useful. The breakfast was basic was plentiful. We were able to park our car in a nearby side road, so although not completely secure, it was free and meant we didn't have to be gone by a certain time the next day after we'd checked out. We downloaded the Owl Trail, it says you can do it in an hour, but we probably took nearly two. On our way round, we picked up a booklet from the tourist information, €3, which told us about each point on the way, very useful, good pictures and not loads to read! I would recommend doing this if you have limited time. Dijon is a lovely place to visit.
