Hotel with beautiful atmosphere and mountain view
Staying at Hotel Forrest Hill felt like staying with family. I was welcomed very warmly. The staff was very friendly and more than helpful! Throughout my stay I felt safe and looked after. Cafés and restaurants close by, nice mountain view. It was very quiet.

Nice views
This hotel has great views clean but simple. Was told there where restaurants near by sure if your into walking up a 100 steep stairs to the street above and that is no exaggeration. I had to stop 5 times so I could catch my breath and not have a heart attack. So if you don’t mind the trek up the stairs no problem. The food at the hotel is OK but limited. No English TV and the shower head didn’t work.

Quiet location, balcony with a great view, staff is wonderful. Ten minute walk to center of McCleod. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value
Great value, rooms clean, staff helpful. Only thing is once it starts to get cold there is no heating so can get chilly. I have extended my stay twice as it is quiet and good value. It is a few minute walk up hill to get to the main town so if you have mobility problems take note
