"This was the 2nd time I have stayed here - for three nights on this occasion. The decor of the front bedroom, with its beautiful curtains and 4-poster bed is delightful and comfortable and the room where one can have a glass of port (gratis) is charming. My only sadness was that the fabulous breakfasts provided by the previous owners was no longer available, but the self-service “continental” breakfast was perfectly adequate."

"This was our favorite accommodation on our recent trip to Tasmania. We were in the Unit. It was homely, clean and lovely. We arrived to a freshly baked loaf of bread left for us, as well as a lovely breakfast for us to cook. The owner was friendly and helpful. "What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away. "
