"I stayed there with my husband and we found the staff very accommodating and helpful. The property is close to downtown SJO and within walking distance to many attractions. There was always a taxi on stand-by so getting to further attractions was easy. The room was large and they cleaned and restocked toiletries daily. The gym was a little small but ample if you’re into maintaining your routine Overall a great experience. "

"If you are going to the theatre district this is place for reasonable rates. Parking is a breeze, the front desk is very helpful, rooms are clean, AC is great, beds are in good condition. Breakfast is in an area opening onto walking street which is open with a nice breeze, omelet is incredible!"

"Never a good experience when a huge roach wakes u up at 3:30 am crawling on your back while u sleeping. Saw several others about so they must not clean well and was a lot of small flying bugs tgat cami inside from the rocky “patio” area. Carpet hasent been replaced in years but it was a secure and a place to rest up if u don’t mind lil critters. "

"Great hotel, found by chance nearby the bus station. It's an old style house converted so has a very cozy feeling and actual rooms, made of brick and cement, etc. The surrounding area is great during the day but is shady at night, though relatively safe."
