"Absolutely loved our stay here which really made our trip to the salt flats special. The spa was lovely I had both a facial & massage & I enjoyed both. Probably the only thing that slightly lets the hotel down is the main restaurant. All the meals are served buffet style which didn’t look particularly good. We ate in the bar area instead which although had a limited menu served freshly cooked food. "

"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! Chris and his team are top notch: very accommodating, friendly, helpful & just great people!! The restaurant (Minuteman Pizza) is EXCELLENT for both dinner & breakfast! "Excellent stay as we arrived shortly after 9pm., cab from airport 6,000 pesos for two as we started off well with an honest cab driver. The check in and over the next 15 hours was superb. Clean, well equipped hotel as we had a king size bed, all the bathroom accessories with the only flaw no English news network channel but we just wanted to catch up on being out of touch for the last 16 days. "Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. "We spent one night in this hotel. We booked it as the last minute as the hotel we first booked was closed. We arrived at the hotel by bus before 5 am and Almidena staff was there and opened the door for us. They also allowed us to early check in so we could get a room to take shower and had a nap. The staff Santos (hopefully I remember his name correctly) is very helpful. He took care of us very well and provided all convenience for us. Only one thing I can complain this hotel is its facility....
