"THANK GOD we were upgraded to another hotel (Home 2, which was very nice!) due to supposed mechanical issues I believe she said, but pulling up to it, my friend said no way was she going to stay here. "Pleasantly surprised at the updated room and calm area. Only real issue was the unit upstairs - we were on the 1st floor and you could hear every single step from above and thumping all night. Not sure if sound proofing is needed or if the people were just super heavy-footed but unfortunately it ruined 2/3 nights for us. We would definitely stay here again though - would just recommend asking for a top floor unit."

"We loved this place so much!! The pictures online don’t give it enough credit! The king bed/single cabin was so cozy and so conveniently placed for all our bar harbor/Acadia National park adventures!! The staff was so kind and our dogs were welcomed and even made friends with some other dogs at the little dog park they provide! Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay! "
