"Cannot say enough about our lovely stay at Casart - it was a dream. Gorgeous space with comfortable cabins that were perfect for our family of 3, a lovely central lodge overlooking a busy watering hole, absolutely delicious food, and most importantly an incredibly warm and welcoming staff. We would have stayed much longer if we had the vacation days! Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in a park, but the Krueger lodges are out of range. "

"The hotel is rustic and the staff is very friendly and the room was clean. Is a good spot to BBQ as a self-catering unit, since the grill is right outside the room. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Cold beers and hot chips at the patio bar. The location is optimal for visits to Kruger NP via the Punda Maria gate."

"Everything about our stay was amazing. The food I cannot speak enough of everything was cooked to perfection and my husband is super picky and ate things he doesn’t normally eat. The room was exactly as pictured on hotels.com we asked for the outdoor shower and was accommodated. The safaris are two per day and they are always on time and the Safari is on a private game reserve which means you have a better chance of seeing animals and getting a close and personal encounter with them. "the place with FILHY, the blankets and duvets were old, dirty and threadbare, The pillows were smelly and yellow. The windows could not be closed.. The pots were so old and disgusting. The place was infested with cokroaches, frogs and mosquitoes. My staff are still sick from their stay at this place. It is a self catering place but it was so disgusting that you could not even consider cooking there"

So many things to do and see in the immediate area including Kruger National Park. Self drive or guided if it's you first time you will not be dissapointed.
