"We enjoyed our short stay at La Recoleccion. It was within walking distance of our volcano boarding tour and the cathedral. The AC worked great, and beds were comfortable. However, there was zero hot water and the shower fills up like a swimming pool. There is no 24 hour front desk, so if you have to leave super early like we did, prepare for a pitch black lobby. "

The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. "This hotel is located about 2.5 hours from Managua. It has a private beach that is amazing, secluded, warm water, great waves for surfing, and wonderful sunsets. "If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing.
