"Nice place in luxurious area, away from centre but not far."

"A great hotel situated at the best end of the promenade offering beautiful views of the sea and flame towers (sea view rooms). Breakfast is lavish and the staff go out of their way to accomodate different food choices (we are vegetarians). Only on one day room was not serviced and had to remind them for it."

"Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! "First day the weather was sunny and sometimes partly cloudy. Second day the fog covered the whole region, so we could not achieve our excursion point like water falls in the Lazza Village ets... and also we couldn't continue to enjoy the marvelous views around the hotel. There was like in a fair tail. Advice to everyone."

"I was offered a nice room with a sea view immediately upon arrival. Everything seemed to work. Room cleaning was okay, but I think they did not use vacuum cleaning often or left some areas dusted. Once I was almost denied pool access at 10:00 pm, although the reception said they close at 10:30. Breakfast was very modest and same everyday. "

"The hotel in itself is fine. I booked a junior suite which was good value. However, if you consult a map it does not appear far to the city centre. In fact the hotel is "trapped" behind 3 enormous roads un-crossable for pedestrians and with only one underpass in the least convenient direction. There are no other commercial buildings close to the hotel. This means every day starts with a taxi (good value actually) or a walk up the same long hill alongside three lanes of thundering traffic.
