"Over all it was comfortable and we had no problems or issues. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The only minus is that we thought the room could use some maintenance. The wallpaper was pealing in places and some odd old fixtures were left in the room, an old TV shelf, old curtain rod holders, and some things we couldn't identify - things that weren't removed when new ones were put in. But, like I say, we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay."

Explained everything, gave us a map with suggestions where to go and what to eat. We took all her advice and suggestions and it was delicious. The next day they allowed our luggage to stay at the hotel while we had a morning excursion. The staff is what set this hotel apart,"

"We had a wonderful time at mt aurora lodge. Kate and Jeff are hospitable and knowledgeable about aurora timing and woke us up immediately when the aurora showed up during the night. Seeing the northern light is breathtaking experience! Although the level is 2, we can clearly see the northern light due to clear and dark sky. Breakfast has Muffin, toast, egg, beacon, juice, milk. They also provide cereal, hot/cold water, hot chocolate, microwave, fridge in the lobby. WiFi in the lobby is good. $10...

"Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps. "

"Perfect choice for a few days stay in Juneau. We could walk to our destinations including the tour bus pick ups. Breakfast held us until dinner. Several close restaurants. Comfortable to hang out in afternoon after wet hikes or walks. Staying in a restored historic home adds a bit to the Alaska experience. "
