We arrived at the property at 12:45 wanting to check in. We were told there was a room ready and we could check in for $20.00 per hour extra. If we wanted until 3pm we would not.be charges.

It is bad to leave or enter the hotel from the main road. I was 1st floor room, noise from walking on the 2nd floor and the sound of children running is much more louder. Too small swinging pool.

The hotel worker was rude as soon as I walked in. I prepaid for my hotel room and was traveling with my small children. I arrived at 1 in the morning and would be leaving early in the morning. I did not have a second credit card on me / just the card I paid for the hotel with. He would not let us in the room. Expedia even called as I had cash or the card already on file and the man refused to let us stay at our pre-paid hotel room. He was so unprofessional and just mean. I have never dealt with someone like this or a hotel who would not pit their customers first. Unbelievable .

This was perfect for our stay. We were in Destin for a wedding. The room was clean with enough towels. We have stayed at other places where we had to call for towels. The breakfast was good. The attendant made sure each station had enough food. The area was quiet and close to attractions. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Typical nasty hotel breakfast. Went out to eat breakfast/brunch 3 of the 4 days we stayed there. Furniture, curtains, bathroom all very dated. Supposedly 4 star hotel? no more than 2 stars at best.

Everything about this property was awesome, friendly staff met you on arrival, checkin was easy and quick. breakfast was great i love the eggs..i wasn't feeling well the second day and i went downstairs to get some hot water, then front desk called to find out if i was feeling better.will be visiting Destin again just to stay at Wingate at Wyndham.

My room was very clean along with the dining area. The pool and whirlpool area were clean as well. The breakfast was very good which is not typical for most hotels I stayed at. My only complaint was that I wanted to check in early but the hotel has a $20 per hour charge if you want to check in before 2:30. I never had that charge at any other hotel I stayed at.

It was a last minute need to stay in Destin so we just picked the place on the web site. What a gem. Loved everything about it from the great location walkable to all the restaurants and shopping to the friendly staff. Winn Dixie within a 5 minute walking distance and it has a great hot buffet breakfast and the softest towels ever. Highly recommend the place if u don’t care to have to be on the beach.

Room was stuffy, no balconies. Window was secured until maintenance unlocked it. The TV had a terrible picture. Staff tried to help with a different one, but was still the same. Breakfast was good.
