The staff is very friendly and prompt. The number of different pools is great too. The building and rooms are Ok in general. Overall cleanness is fine. As a remark: it would be great to force more strict policy on pool and area use rules especially regarding visitor's hygiene.

Green algae floating around. I had to get moved to a different hotel. Expedia told me on the phone that I would be refunded for 2 nights but that was not reflected on my credit card account. I was very disappointed with my stay and it ruined my birthday celebration. :(( I contacted Expedia again just now and they continue to tell me to call the hotel instead of helping me resolve the issue.

I came here by myself and enjoyed the pools but the hotel was very noisy. The people next to me were hanging out in the hallway and being loud. The music was on very loud, too. The room itself was fine. The bed was kinda hard but I slept ok. There are no bells and whistles and I gave the lower rating because of the area and the guests. I’d never been to Desert Hot Sorings and likely won’t be back. I much prefer Palm Springs but since we rented a house nearly for my daughter and her friends, I wanted to be close. The check in and out was smooth but I had to park far away from the room because there was no available parking behind the gate.

Be aware that this place is a public plunge. Families come here to escape the heat for the day, leaving trash wherever. At night they blast DJ music in the pool area, so you gotta hear that in your room whether you want to or not.

As for trash we have housemen to clean the grounds.On Sunday 2pm to 6pm we have a band by the pool area for our guests which thy love.Our front desk is open 24 hours for any questions or issues. We are sorry this wasn't brought to our attention. Thank you.

This is literally the worst experience of my entire life I went downstairs to explain that the refrigerator does not close and it is completely filled with ice in the freezer section it took them 6 hours to get somebody up here to switch it out the television has lines in the screen the remote control for the television does not work everything in this room is disgusting and if I do not get reimbursed or get my money back I will literally Sue I am sick and tired of being taken advantage of. I went into the office and spoke with one of the gentleman there he was very kind but couldn't do anything the only thing offered to me was to refund my money and for us to vacate the premises meanwhile I drove over an hour and a half to get here to bring my wife of 32 years and all my grandchildren. My daughter rented the room next door it's disgusting there is mold everywhere I'm going to take pictures take care of everything and that was not the case this is trash the owner of this property needs to shut it down and get it together I need to be responded to as quickly as possible otherwise Experian as well as this hotel will experience the backlash on social media.

There was no hot water in the room, when we brought it to their attention all they did was send a security guard to tell us there’s nothing they can do and just recommended running the water. I stayed there 3 night and no hot water the whole time. The remote/ tv didn’t work in the room, asked maintenance for help and they never came back. Also bring your own towels because they never have any to hand out, every time we asked they were out of towels. If you are located at the back of the resort you won’t have any WiFi. The front desk staff was not helpful, when I voiced my problems I was told I would be contacted by a manger and was never called.

Room was very dirty with a broken tile on the floor entering the bathroom. Also the room wasn’t secured properly. Another guest was drunk and opened up my door with no problem even though the door was locked. Overall it was a terrible experience and I’m not likely to return.

The staff at check in were very helpful and friendly. The hotel Itself is kinda sketchy- not the type of place to stay if you are alone. I also saw someone putting chemicals in the pools WHILE children were in them!

I'm disabled, and I was put on the second floor, despite making notes in my reservation that I needed first floor. The food at the restaurant was horrible. The clientele at the motel were very low-class, trampling on the shared balcony at 2am, 3am, 4am, right outside our sliding door. Loud laughing, pounding, and loud sex. Remote did not appropriately function TV.

It’s my second time back to this vacation spot and it was a really good stay ! The room was nice and clean , I love the balcony rooms , the view of the mountains , snow covered hills , Palm trees and pools is like heaven ! This hotel is pet friendly which is awesome ! The only thing I was disappointed was the restaurant had minimum staff which meant the service was slow and minimum option for food ! Kinda pricey for what you pay for food options . I’ll be back and bring my furry baby’s ! Thank you desert vacation spa !

The toilet was broken in the room, asked to get it fixed and was still broken, bed wasn’t made / no new towels, got eye irritation from bedding overall one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Want my money back!

I have been coming here since the late 1950's. Love the pools and the old school casual family vibe. Lots of hot pools to pick from. My room was in need of a remodel. Room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. I liked the restaurant. Good food and reasonably priced. The wait staff was great. So were all of the workers there. In spite of the room, i will keep coming back.

At check in- the receptionist did not give me an explanation why my Ccard was swiped, If room was already paid through Expedia. She gives me a (1) key for the room, no instructions how to use the gated parking( needed a code which is written on the key envelope) It took me some time to figure it out, thinking it was WIFI password. In the room- the tv remote did not have batteries, went to front desk and got batteries, but it didn’t work either. Some light bulbs in the room were out of order. The toilet was not working properly, couldn’t flush or the water was running all night. No WiFi, couldn’t get connected. I wasn’t told which one to use or needed a password or it was open. I felt that I was given an out of order room. Did not want to stress about all these inconvenience, just wanted to relax which was the main purpose of my trip.

No internet. To doesn’t working. No ramp for wheelchairs. No regulated pool and jacuzzi temperature. No phone in the room. No please for luggages. No any umbrellas around pools. Too old furnitures in the rooms everything looks like motel 1 star. I paid $180 per nite and living this bedly hotel after 1 nite. We can’t stay.new 1 nite. Really terrible experience and we can’t recommend it for anyone

I wished this was brought to our attention so we could of had housekeeping go back into your room. The pools are amazing thank you.

I would have given this place a 1 star but we didn't see any bedbugs, so I'll give it a two. Anyone who thinks this motel is better than 2 stars hasn't stayed in other hotel/motels. This is a pretty horrible place. At check-in, the receptionist made me feel like I was putting her out having to do her job of checking us in. The restaurant is far understaffed and the people aren't terribly friendly. we waited about 30 minutes before someone came to take our drink orders, another good bit of time to order food and once we were done, we were ignored on the bill even though it was requested. The rooms are in really, really rough condition. Everything needs to be updated. Stains on the carpet and towels. The AC didn't work, the TV remote didn't work. Look for other places in Palm Springs.

All depends on your neighbors. If they are loud you’re in trouble. The walls are very thin and the toilet seat is the smallest thing I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to sit on
