The very modest outside of the property does not translate into how nice and well-maintained. It is on the inside. The hotel is very modestly priced and worth the money Hotel is located about a five minute walk from the Kailash colony Metro Station on the violet line of the metro. Area around the hotel is safe even at night but it's the proximity to the metro which to me was the big selling point They seem to be in the process of renovating all the rooms in the hotel. Mine was very nice with a comfortable bed and very modern fixtures. The view from the window was not special, best to keep the curtains closed. The staff was very accommodating and quick to respond to my requests. Breakfast was filling and available from 8 AM to 10 AM. They also prepared meals from a menu at very modest prices. For the price and location I would highly recommend the hotel

Liked the area where located. LIked the climbing theme. They had water leak and it was difficult to work with them when we had tours during the day and night and they wanted to move our luggage to another less than desirable hotel. One staff member was not helpful.

Our stay for 4 Nights
The location of room allotted was bad, next to reception entrance. I requested for silent zone. This was noisy. The TV channels were recharged after our request. Wash basin was leaking and its position was congested. No mirror or dressing table in the room. Outside and pathway used to be parked with all cars. Nearby no good restaurants. Service boys were very pleasant and helpful. Food served was medium. We appreciate the mountaineering related photographs on display.

some big negatives, but also some positives.
we've stayed at Legend Inn a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Seemed like a real find among this cheaper class of hotels in Delhi. And the location was really good for us. But this time...there was NO hot water. It was kind of terrible. Apparently, the boiler went out right before we arrived, since staff seemed to know nothing about this issue. They finally, starting the second day, offered to bring buckets of hot water for our bathing. The last day we were there, they said that it was fixed. The water went to lukewarm. This was OK for me, but still not satisfactory for my wife. And I also have to mention that the Wi-Fi at the hotel is really quite terrible. Even my AirTel wasn't connecting for data service. And I have to say the overall state of the place was rather dirty. So based on these issues, I will be very hesitant to book Legend again or to recommend it to others...especially to foreigners. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the staff did make a concession for us, ultimately, and let us stay at the hotel the last day until 5:00 pm when we had to go to the airport for flights. Most days, I had delicious masala omelettes with cheese. Staff was helpful in cutting up fruit that we bought and brought for breakfast. Staff was a bit mixed, some were very helpful and friendly, others were just useless to us.

We had welcome drink included in our stay but the hotel did not provide it despite reminders. Our stay was 7 nights. The water geyser broke in the midst of my bath and I had to wait till morning. Wifi keeps resetting every other day and have to call reception each time to get a new password.

For wi-fi we are giving password for 3 days after 3 days it's automatically changed.RegardsVineet Kumar

Disappointing -- was rented a freezing room!
Overall the hotel is fine for the price and they did upgrade me to a suite, but it is very difficult to appreciate anything if the room is freezing. They don't have central heating, although I would expect a steam radiator type of heating at this price range. They didn't even have any portable space heater, and when asked they gave me the excuse that they have none because all their portable heaters are broken. This is completely unacceptable when the outside temperature is hitting close 0 degrees Celsius! Back in USA, in this situation (which is extremely unlikely in the first place), they would made arrangements for me to stay at another better hotel nearby at no additional cost to me. That would be good service -- not just helping to carry my luggage, which I can do.

We loved this hotel - the rooms are comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms are great. The place is very clean and bottled water and toiletries (really impressed to see that they were cruelty free) are provided. The wi-if is excellent and you even receive a newspaper each morning. Best of all everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more from this hotel. We look forward to our next stay.

Good 3 Star Hotel near GK
A clean, three-star hotel with good service, The Legend Inn met the needs of our family for a short stay in Delhi. While the hotel does not have the amenities of a five star hotel, it’s reasonably priced and a good value. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel staff responded to our requests quickly. THE laundry service was great as well.

Great Experience for first-time India traveler
The Legend Inn was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was adequate. Towels and toiletries were excellent. Hot water for showers.The Legend Inn was conveniently located near stations for the Violet Line of the Metro. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to get out and about to Connaught Place (for shopping) and the Lotus Temple easily. The food at the hotel was Indian and excellent. Great for my first time with Indian food.

Great hospitality, Great location.
Hotel is in a very old building but the rooms are well maintained and spotless. Bed and pillows were soft which is rare for this part of the world and price class. Staff were outstanding. I felt very secure here. We tried the kitchen and although it took a long time, the food was as expected and well worth the cost. Rooms in the front have nice view of the street but are noisy. We got a room in the back which was quiet but view was another building. Airport pickup was timely and dependable.

Great spot for solo female travellers
Great spot to stay, clean, nice rooms. This is great spot to stay. I was a solo female traveller, going on a tour of the Golden triangle. Booked this hotel for the night before and after the tour. Picked me up at the airport, and dropped me back off at the airport. For a charge. 1000 rupees for the pick up, and 600 rupees for the drop off. But very reliable, which was a concern for me, being my first time to India, and travelling solo. The hotel staff is very friendly, and accommodating for airport transport. Breakfast included and great. I would totally recommend this place. Very safe place to stay. And great for the price.

Nice helpful service.
It was a safe, comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Especially important for two single women. They could lighten up the inside a bit by fresh coat of lighter paint and color. Things a bit dull in beige and browns. But clean, good sized rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfasts included and free airport shuttle if you stay 2 nights.

Nice and very clean hotel. A home away from home.
I along with my wife stayed in this hotel for 6 nights from December 11 to 16, 2016. It was a happy and satisfying experience. In fact, we found the accommodation, its cleanliness and the service better than our expectations. All the hotel staff were friendly and willing workers. They took good and immediate care of our small small requirements like an extra pillow or an item of toiletry etc. etc. They spared no effort to make our stay comfortable to make us feel at home. I would like to compliment them for their good work and urge them to keep up the good work. No doubt, this hotel would be my choice for our next stay in Delhi. Also, I would gladly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Delhi and looking for transit accommodation.It is particularly suitable for stay with family.

Hotel is little old. Breakfast is same everyday and is not good. Restaurant is not there in the property and there is only in room dining. The staff are good and the reception immediately took note of my issue (noise in the night and early morning) & allotted a better room in 4th floor,

Comfortable and clean
Arrived in Delhi during the money crisis where line ups at banks and ATMs were the norm. The hotel was extremely helpful in allowing cash advances and a tab to be run for tours. Without this assistant my trip to India would have been more stressful than it already was. There is an onsite restaurant but they aren't licensed for alcohol. The staff recommended room service which was great as it saved a trip out and having to deal with money as most places don't take credit cards. Hotel has a Mount Everest theme with a rock climbing wall in the lobby. Cool artifacts decorate the hotel which educates visitors about india's connection with Everest.

A perfect stay!!!!
We can't say enough good things about The Legend Inn. Our room was large, VERY clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, the service was remarkable, and the food was fantastic!!! We also loved the neighborhood- a quick 5 minute walk to the metro, a park and plenty of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Hôtel moyen mais un service client extraordinaire
Un hôtel 3 étoiles qui offre des chambres correctes mais rien d'exceptionnel même pour la Suite dans laquelle j'ai séjourné plus d'une semaine. La wifi est juste correcte car, le débit est un peu lent et peut avoir quelques coupures mais c'est assez rare. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Le point très positif de ce hôtel est le traitement du client. Le personnel et y compris le responsable de l'établissement font tout ce qui est en leur pouvoir pour que vous vous sentiez comme un client d'exception. Ils multiplient les délicates attentions à tous les instants et sont toujours disponibles pour satisfaire vos requêtes.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very gracious and helpful. The room is very clean and has everything you need, also the room rate is reasonable and the location is great, not too far from airport and 5min walk to metro station. A very pleasant stay!!

The staff is really nice and polite! The room is good, clean. The location is not so good though, because it's very far from all the main attractions. But it's very close to a train station, and you can find a good supermarket on the same street. Very simple Indian breakfast.

感動的ホスピタリティ
スタッフの親切な対応が素晴らしい。リクエストへの対応の早さがインドの中級ホテルとは思えないほど素早い。同僚の体調不良でレイトチェックアウトをお願いしたが無料で対応してくれた。2年連続で利用したが来年もこのホテルを利用するつもりでいる。
