Delhi is an expensive place for hotels. This so called budget hotel with taxes costs around RS 5400 (CAD 105) per night. However, the I had a pleasant experience at the hotel. Staff were very courteous. First day, front desk gave me a cash of INR 2550 in exchange of 40 USD. It was a difficult time in India because of demonetization of higher value currency bills and change was not easy to get. Chef cooked special curry's for three nights for me, I have asked home style curries of squash, bhendi and karela, generally, generally, one doesn't find these vegetables in the menu. In Delhi, in restaurants mainly vegetable curry options are, potato, cauliflower, green peas etc. Hence, I was happy to see special curries for me.
I stayed total eight nights in 15 days period-first four nights, my "standard" room was small and during my second stay the front desk has upgraded me to their "club" category room and this one was very comfortable. In "standard" rooms I had difficulty in placing my second piece of luggage.
Breakfast was also very good, the buffet has both Indian and western options. Everyday, had fresh vegetable juice and fruit juice. Overall, it was a nice hotel and it was pleasant stay for me.
