Despite having sent our itinerary to the hotel 2 days in advance, and trying to receive confirmation from them many times, we arrived at the airport at 2:30am and the promised transportation wasn’t there. We had to take an airport cab which was much more expensive than an Uber(which we couldn’t call as our sims hadn’t activated yet). Upon getting to the hotel, they said it was full so they took us across the road to their sister hotel, which was pretty filthy, but quiet. We were too tired to protest and just went to bed. They then woke us by calling to remind us to go for breakfast at 8:30 and 9:00am, which might be viewed as considerate if not for we hadn’t slept for 2 days. After a modest breakfast(an omelette and nice coffee) they moved us to the main hotel and the room was much cleaner, but louder. The hotel is in a very busy side area a few minutes drive from the airport, it’s definitely not an area everyone will want to be in, but we felt safe and enjoyed the surrounding markets.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly as were the majority of the staff.
The second night the phone rang us at 2am for no known reason.
This is a very busy hotel at night with many people arriving between12pm-3am so it’s not somewhere you can rest easily. But it’s very close to the airport so it is convenient. If you’re travelling on a very tight budget then make sure they put you in the main hotel if you decide to stay here. But I’d recommend trying another hotel.
