The shower didn't work. Only one road along a hilly incline was the entrance. Potholes.

Thank you for your review Michael. In our facility we provide showers where you have to pull the shower knob out to turn on the water. We had a few guest have question about this before and we simply provided instructions to properly work the shower unit which is a Moen brand shower faucet. As for as the road to entrance, we have brand new blacktop where you can safely drive up to our property. However, the few small potholes that you mentioned, the township are working on those soon.

It was a smell in the room. I had to use napkins that I had because I didn't have toilet paper in the room. No hot water for I can take a shower. Never would go back.

Allen was wonderful when he checked us in and answered all of our questions. Our room was clean and neat. The pool and the hot tub were awesome.

The staff is super helpful. He showed me how to get to the room. When I left my electric toothbrush in my room, I called to see if they found it. They took the time to look for it for me and called me back as soon as they were able to locate it. I was fortunate enough to be back in the area and was able to swing by to retrieve my lost item. Super thankful for the staff responsiveness.

The drive up might scare you a bit. But don’t let that stop you. It’s a pretty place to swim and close to the water gap. Worth the stay. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Even keeping the pool open an extra hour so my children could swim. Awesome place don’t be scared. It’s a great place to stay. You’ll have allot of laughs about it.

Vintage hotel in a vintage town
Overnight for a work trip, this was a very comfortable room and a good value. Very convenient, yet secluded and quiet. Would stay again, with extra time to explore the grounds and enjoy the amenities.

Right at home......
We fell in love with this place quick! From the spacious rooms to the comfortably to roam freely and not be stuck inside. My husband never sleeps through the night but he slept like a baby knowing we were safe and sound in our little bungalo. Our family is in the process of buying a house so we have been bouncing around but and this family owned bussiness makes u feel right at home!

Bed bugs room 41 no wash rags went to front desk upon check out no one to be found. Sad because very nice guy checked me in i felt room was very clean but disappointed over being ate up by bed bugs.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Delaware water gap. Front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating. Very helpful. Gave us options on where to eat and things to do. Room is clean.

The property was safe but outdated. The person at the desk was very nice but the place really needs some tlc. The grounds were very nice and clean. I wish them the best as they seem to be working hard to make it comfortable.

LOVED my stay here. The room has cute, clean, had great A/C & Comfy beds. I was traveling with 2 dogs, it was perfect for them! Lots of room to walk around (and they enjoyed their comfy bed too) The property is gorgeous, well maintained and I loved the fire pit by the picnic tables. It was nice and quiet even with the amount of people around us. The pool and hot tub was nice, clean and very nice hangout area. Great for families! I loved this place! It is old but well taken care of and it brought a sense of comfort and welcoming that I haven’t felt in a long time. We will definitely be back whenever passing through. 🙂

Check in and out process was easy. Host was very polite. Somewhat confusing entering the property. Basic room accommodation, felt like a rustic cabin with insufficient lighting. Small refrigerator provided. Furniture could use updating. Slight odor, able to hear conversations from next door room, needs better door security. The simple key entry with a push lock (no deadbolt) and key chain made for an insecure feeling.

I never checked in. The first impression was negative. The overall condition of the property did not reflect the Hotel.com rating. Upon inspection I found the room to have a strong smell of must & mildew. As an asthmatic I had to leave immediately.

Area great, grounds and overall stay just ok
They are family owned, were friendly. Place is very outdated with a huge old hotel which looks like it has stood empty since 1970. Where people stay now is not much more modern but inside is ok and at least clean. Its a great area convenient to the DE River Gap recreation area so thats what makes it worthwhile and the price was ok. Very disappointed though that indoor pool and hot tub closes on Sunday and we were not told this checking in.

I felt that the pictures on hotels.com were a little deceiving. If you google the hotel, the pictures are more accurate. As all of the other review have stated, the owners' son was incredibly nice. The facility is a mess. It is very run down and out dated. The room was very outdated, but seemed very clean.

The rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub is great. The showers in the pool area were unusable. A group had reserved the pool when we wanted to use it so had to wait about 30 minutes. Did not expect any area to be off limits.

The young man who checked us in was very nice and said that the property is a family run business with his parents. While we were at the desk a woman came in to ask for a roll of toilet paper- that should have been a sign. Our room was in the last row of buildings and it was in poor repair. The door didn't fit properly and was poorly repaired, the ceiling had water damage that was poorly covered up, the first flush plugged the toilet, the walls were paper thin. It looked as though some of the buildings closer to the office were in better repair- I hope so!

My partner enjoyed our stay here a lot. Upon arrival, we learned it was family run (a son and his parents). The son was beyond friendly when he checked us in. We loved that the rooms each had private entrances, referring to each room as "cabanas". It made the experience feel very private, we heard zero noise from anyone else on the property. The property is a ton of acres and the owners allow you to walk around and explore the area which was very peaceful. My only cons is that it was definitely on the pricier side. I paid $162 for a room with a king bed for one night. The bed was nice but not a high quality mattress with very thin pillows which I felt justified a cheaper price. Also the pool was not open at the time of our stay, which would have been an amazing plus because the pool and hot tub looked absolutely beautiful! Overall, very nice stay and I definitely would return. I hope my review was helpful to others :)

Old property. That said it has been renovated/maintained to very basic standards. Small family owned and operated property. Rooms are very dated but pride was taken to update them. Room was CLEAN. Check in was friendly and we were offered to view our room before paying. Nice pool and Cute town

Check in time is way too late, especially if you are planning to stay there for one day only. Walls are paper-thin, so you will hear every step your neighbors are taking. Beds are not queen size, my tall husband didn’t fit in the bed and his feet we’re hanging off the bed. There was a wasp and a spider in our room. The only reason we chose that motel was the pool and hot tub. The water in the pool was cold, the water in the hot tub was green. Not much to add. They need to invest some money into this property to have better feedback from their guests.

I think this would be better for a summer visit rather than a winter visit. The pool was in a different building than where we were. We were in a motel setting more than a hotel. The hot water did not work and the heat didn’t work unless it was forced to turn on in the room. Would’ve told the people but the front desk was closed when we checked out due to it being a family run business. The people who own it were amazing people but could use a little maintenance and definitely more of a place for the summer.
