Front desk was cordial but missinformative we were told it was ok to take our dog on the beach behind the hotel (that will get you a ticket, dogs not allowed on the beach in Daytona). No smoking allowed.....the pot smoke was so thick in the hallways and elevators and pool deck you could slice it. All of the parking was gone before the hotel was booked. No alternative was offered. This area must be hard-up for Good contractors, they are still cleaning up from a hurricane that happened in 2022. This is a Hilton in name only the franchisees must not have deep enough pockets to get the job done.in a timely fashion. It appears that the locals use the parking to enjoy the beach and pool, they even bring their own BBQ grills and set them up on the beach. There is no security, the pool area is not locked and some 1st floor doors stay unlockes.

Our room was clean and so was the hotel which is most important to me. The day of arrival the front desk was very accommodating and let us check in early. There were no towels or conditioner in our bathroom. We had to ask 2x before we received them in the evening. Beach (sand) is super tiny. No chairs except weekends for $50. If you ask, they will give you small, thin beach towels. Small pool, hot tub not hot or running. Was told outdoor bar not open but can purchase alcohol inside and bring it out but bar inside doesn't open till 5pm.Not enough chairs around pool for guests. Surrounding area not very nice. Next door is a large frame of a hotel that was destroyed by the hurricane of 2022? No place to walk to except maybe the shopping center across the street.(Didn't go) Was advised by our Uber driver not to walk down the other end of the street at night. Not safe. Have not been to Daytona in over 20 years and I must say it was not what I remembered. Quite run down and depressing. I would not come back to this area in the future.

Still in the process of renovating…however, it was well maintained. Disappointed that the hot tub was not working, considering our visit was in February and days were cool. All the staff we encountered were very nice, polite and helpful when necessary. Would consider staying here again when in the Daytona Beach area.

The hotel was decent. It's right on the water which was great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, I let housekeeping know but it never got refilled. There was also no shampoo in the dispenser. They took our dirty towels but did not replace them. They also took our hand soap and didn't leave another bar. Our pillows were switched out, not sure what that was about. We went to the bar for a drink but there didn't seem to be a bartender and the front desk person was unsure how to make a Paloma. I stayed at this hotel a year ago and had a great experience, this time there was much room for improvement.

Enjoyed my stay the only complaint I have is the bed is was not comfortable. I woke up every morning with my back hurting. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and never had this issue so just know all beds are not created equally.

The location of the building, right at the edge of the beach sand, was an outstanding option (no streets to cross). The pool and hot tub were also an outstanding option to have available. The room and balcony facing the beach were the selling point for this property.

The Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach is located on the far north end of Daytona, almost to Ormond in a wonderful, quieter area. The hotel is beautiful, and they are just finishing up renovations after the hurricane damage from the previous year. The beach is beautiful, as is the outdoor pool area overlooking the beach. We purchased breakfast ahead of time, which I recommend. If you stay at Garden Inns very often, you know it is a better deal to purchase with your reservation, and they have great food. The staff was also wonderful. If you are looking for a smaller, beautiful hotel away from the hustle & bustle and somewhat seedy (my opinion) area near the pier, look no more - the Hilton Garden Inn is fabulous!

They were doing some remodeling in the lobby and food area but it didn't affect my stay and will be very nice once completed. My room had recently been renovated and was gorgeous and felt like new. Bed was super comfortable and shower was amazing!! Very nice new sliding door and balcony and view of the beach. I did not use the pool or any other amenities as I was there for a work trip. I did have some issues with a guest next door with a yappy little dog and it's excessive barking but once I brought it to the attention of the front desk they handled it immediately. Would gladly stay here again!!
