Thank you for your thoughtful and caring staff, especially Zelma, who was the afternoon/evening front desk manager during our stay.
We had to travel to Dayton, OH this week to be with a loved one whose health had taken a sudden turn for the worse and was put in hospice care. We drove 500 miles to get there on time to see our loved one, so we went straight to the hospital that evening without checking in first. Since it was already after 8PM, I called the front desk to let them know we would be arriving late, mentioning that we had come straight to the hospital fearing we would be too late. Zelma assured me that the room was still available and she would be there when we arrived. When we did check in a couple of hours later she asked about our loved one and expressed her concern and offered to help make our stay easier with a later check out if needed, a reservation later in the week if we needed to extend our stay at best rate she was able to give us. As we came and went throughout the next day she would ask how we were doing and how my sister was, offering to keep us in her thoughts and prayers. It was like having a friend looking out for you during a very stressful and difficult time. Thank you again Zelma!
