My partner and I stayed here while we hiked the nearby trails. Pretty central to everything, which we really liked! The check-in process is at a kiosk in the lobby and someone checks you in via zoom. I didn't find it to be inconvenient at all. If you need assistance outside of that, there is someone available to come to the lobby as well. The mattress was a little hard but it's a clean place to stay and great for if you're just in the area for the good views and trails and need a place to shower/sleep.

To begin with, there's no proper check-in at this motel, I had to talk to someone in a video to get checked in and this took way longer than needed. This hotel might think that it is a smart ass and saving on expense but it is very inconvenient to the customers. The AC is unclean, the toilet was moving. The breakfast is even more ridiculous and it is a muffin and granola cup. I don't know if it is the hotel or Expedia's mistake but it is better you don't advertise free breakfast, you are lying when you say you have free breakfast and it is some snacks rather than an actual breakfast.

All of our windows in the room were unlocked! This made me very uncomfortable especially when all the billboards coming into town are for trafficking and rape hotlines! Also, even though there was a girl at the front desk, they make you do some weird tele- checkin on a monitor. I have no clue if the guy on the screen was in the back room or halfway across the world. He “printed” me out 2 room keys…only one worked. It was annoying how long the check in process took on this modern technology machine. Very unhelpful.

Our room was not ready when we got there and we got there at 3 PM. I was kind of upset. We had a wait a half hour plus to check in. You had to do it through kiosk and they had a person that was behind the desk that could’ve helped, but wasn’t.

I appreciate how close this hotel is to S Beach and 2 restaurants on the harbor. There was constant pacing, back and forth, daily 0700-2000. One room also had a little yip yip dog. For the price and location, I’ll book it again in the future.

Very strange check in via some sort of remotely operated video concierge. Breakfast was more of a “snack” than anything. No protein at all, not even eggs or milk. Area around the hotel was dead. Mediocre accommodation at a mediocre price.

This was a different experience staying at this motel I was called early the morning I was supposed to check in, asked if I was still coming and then was told I was going to be charged an additional $100 For a deposit. I made my reservations through Expedia So maybe there’s lack of communication between the motel and Expedia, but I was not Informed of a required deposit. The gentleman I spoke to then hung up and did not charge me anything until I showed up at the motel. When I arrived there was someone behind the glass wall and counter and when I said I was checking in I was told to check in with the kiosk. On the screen was a man at a desk. Very confusing since there’s a person 3 feet away from me behind a counter. I was charged my room amount and then I had to put my credit card back in the kiosk to pay an additional $100 to ensure I wouldn’t do any damage to the Hotel. I believe the usual procedure is to charge the credit card used to pay for the hotel to cover any damage to a hotel room if needed. The rooms are nice and the view is beautiful but dealing with a kiosk is so impersonal it really left a bad impression and I’m afraid I won’t be staying here again. I’m sure some people like this new modern tactic but I guess I’m old fashioned. It was not my cup of tea

This property is exceptionally clean. It is right on the ocean with a large window looking out on the ocean. The room included a gas fireplace, which was a plus it was large with a table and chairs at the window overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Ocean is short walking distance, viewable on SouthEast rooms mainly. Very clean! Ice on both floors levels! Low water pressure, so toilet wasn’t flushing strongly…edge of town, but by the fuel/shopping! Cheap pricing, so we were surprised to get nice fridge and microwave, and nice, tidy, and roominess!

The ocean view we got was a parking lot view. It was very disappointing. They have this virtual front desk machine thing that is very confusing to use for check in even though they have a lady at the front desk who isnt there to help. We were disappointed that we had a family and wanted our rooms together. We asked ahead of time. We asked at check in again and checked in early. Even though there were few guests who had checked in, they still wouldnt grant us rooms together. We ended up next to a bunch of kids who were unsupervised who also werent next to their families. It was crazy. The beds are very hard. I woke with back pain as did my daughter who is too young to have back pain. Both rooms had bad beds. We wont stay here again. There are definitely better hotels in the area.

Positive: Adjacent to the beach. Excellent dining very close by. Convenient location. Negative: The room was in questionable condition. Paint on the walls was peeling. Had a difficult time closing curtains for privacy. Some of the appliances: micro-wave, TV and fridge were covered with old hand/finger prints. The flooring, although new and clean, was cheap and very "slick & slippery".

Check in was automated and I didn’t enjoy the experience. Curtains were shredded and falling apart. Ceiling was damaged. Front of the jetted tub was falling off and the jets didn’t work. Hair in the drain cover and a towel was stained . Tub was nice and big. Bed shed were worn .

The kiosk-only check-in is an awkward process and time consuming if there is a line. The "grab and go" breakfast is a joke: granola bars, pre-packaged mini muffins, the decaf coffee container was empty, and there is nowhere to sit. The rooms are basic and without the ocean view there are no redeeming values. I will select another hotel if I visit again.

The property is well cared for but vacant of humans. The covid style checkin is extremely unwelcoming and borderline frustrating-feels simular to checking into a flight- including scanning my own passport. We really liked the pet-friendly room. It was excellent. What we missed was a pet-friendly place for taking the pet to pogo potty. We carried our own pee pads, but there were no poop bags outdoors that we could find.

We were very happy with the room for the value. It was very clean, not musty smelling, comfortable bed, plenty of space with the ocean out your window. If i had an actual complaint, it would be for them to do some updated beautification on the outside, maybe a nice area in the back to sit and enjoy the ocean view. Over all we had a good nights rest in a comfortable environment.

The room had to be the smelliest most rancid motel room I’ve ever smelled. The smell of whatever cleaning products or air fresheners they tried using to mask the odor was intoxicating, and did little to solve the problem.

Our room looked right out onto the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, also a great perk that it is pet-friendly. The breakfast was very basic and mostly just sweets. Although the room was clean it smelt like wet dog. Net curtain was hanging off the track so we had to shut the curtains as soon as we got there. Check in/out was all done via a computer terminal with a guy on screen so no one actually on site. Grab and go breakfast was poor. Do not recommend and would never return.

Ditch the kiosk check in and put a person as your first contact. The grab and go breakfast needs a much better muffin option.

The host was very nice. Great spot overlooking the ocean. Family had enough room in the two bedroom.

Like the location for Jedediah National park and near the beach and the property had Tesla chargers on site but the back of the property is RV parking not sure how noisy will but when we was there is was close

Property was run down and felt unsafe. No front desk person at check in. Had to use a hokey computer. As soon as I opened the door to my room I was hit in the face with a noxious toxic oder that sent me into an asthma attack. I called Expedia and checked out.

The virtual assistant check-in/check-out process is extremely weird considering there was someone at the front desk. The rooms like fantastic in the photos and in person on the surface, but if you spend any time in there you will quickly see that the floors aren't regularly cleaned and many fixtures in the rooms are loose and in the process of breaking. One of the two curtains was missing a curtain rod so I had to stretch and pull the curtain close by hand. The weirdest thing was someone with a clipboard knocked on my door at 9:30am to ask when I was leaving. Checkout is at 11am, so I don't understand what this was all about and it made me feel very unwelcomed.
