An oasis of calm, just 3 miles away from Garda and about 500 feet higher. Superb views of the lake from the large balcony of the junior suite. The breakfast buffet is arranged as if it is in a family kitchen with lots of fresh fruit, breads, cakes, cold meats and cheeses. A chef is on hand to cook bacon, omelettes etc if required. The pool is very large for the size of the hotel, sunbeds are dotted around the large gardens and there are always plenty available at all times, the hotel provides pool towels and there is no hogging of sunloungers with towels when they are not being used. The pool bar does great coffee and light lunches of pasta, salad it crostoni. There is a lovely terrace for cocktails in the evening and great food in the a la carte restaurant, perhaps the only criticism being the menu didn't change in the two weeks we were there. Reception staff very helpful, a car is a necessity.
