Everything went well, easy and quick check-in. Walkable distance to beach. Although staff could be friendlier. Sauna could be renewed a wee bit. Overall very good, can recommend.

Had so much fun in the sun

Fantastic hotel and extremely close to the beach and shops, turn right at the hotel door and walk down . Hotel was very clean and room was very spacious, ( junior suite) air conditioning which is a god send. cocktails aplenty from 11-11pm . Very good selection of food buffet style, so something for everyone, wine beer or bottle water offered with dinner and lunch, evening restaurant manager is a lovely man, and dining staff are extremely polite. shuttle drop off is the top of the hill as streets are very narrow. 5 min walk so not too bad. Only negatives is night entertainment is not in English but fun all the same, and indoor pool ladders are not bolted to the floor so extremely dangerous... outdoor pool is lovely to have a dip in when too hot, all in all I recommend this hotel and will be back next year.

Needs better air conditioning.

Room needed a good cleaning, 1/2 the pool area was not functioning. I’m not sure you could call a barely functioning fan “air conditioning” and it was hot. Breakfast was below average. Checking out was a total nightmare, the lobby was packed with people attempting to both check in and out at the same time, and the staff was super slow. However, the location was good, the entertainment was fun, there are many good amenities (game area and such) and the beds were comfortable.

The staff at the property were very welcoming and helpful. Any issues we had or help in excursions and transfers were easily sorted out. Food service was good and the hotel itself is in a great location as you are a short walk from the beach and the town and shops but far enough away that it is a quiet location.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. Food plentiful and varied, and lovely! Facilities very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Bed a little hard, and check in seemed very slow but on the whole great hotel. Great location for families and those not wanting to be in nightclub scene. Beach and shops 5 minute walk, quiet location. Would definitely go back and recommend

Friendly staff, nice welcome on arrival (we arrived late at night too) upon arrival they gave us drinks and food. Hotel has everything you need. Drawbacks are loud music till midnight every night and pool gets extremely busy when reps are out. All inclusive food was great a vast range and variety of food every day to choose from, at lunchtimes there’s fresh food made up by the chef at the poolside if you don’t fancy eating in the restaurant. They also made up gluten free meals for my son if we tell them in advance what he wants. Would come back 😊

Would not rate this hotel more than a 3 star rating. The all inclusive guests were treated like second class citizens, being served last and were segregated to a separate queue at the bar. Food was ok and there was a standard buffet available. The receptionist adjusted the restaurant opening times on our key card, indicating the restaurant opened later. This was not the case. When we went to dinner on our first night, there was not a lot left, so we went for earlier sittings for the rest of the week. Very noisy at night and the pool was always full. Have no problem with children but the children at the resort were out of control. If you want a relaxing holiday, this is not the place for you!

We are sorry that your stay was not entirely to your liking, but we are not agree with you and I will explain why: We use plastic glass for your security, from 11:00 till 19:00 (when the pool is open), in the evening we have cristal glass. Respecting the restaurant, we were surprised by your comments, because the restaurant is one of our strengths. All our clients are very happy with the food and the staff. Is quite unusual to have a complain about this, we have a lot or variety of food, show cooking, themed dinners. As in summer we have many clients, we make two shifts in the restaurant, to offer space and tranquility to our customers. Surely you had the second shift but I assure you that we serve the same meal in the two shifts without exception. We are a hotel for families, is normal to have a lot of childrens playing in the pool, in july and august all the kids have vacation We hope to see you again.

Relaxing

Nice hotel close to the beach and lots of shopping and restaurants. Food is plentiful and delicious. The jacuzzis were cold water which was unexpected. The bathroom could use some caulking and mainenance. I would definitely stay again. Safe town and relatively quiet stay.

A very unpleasant place for us to stay

The room was very small, with a very uncomfortable bed, and a thin door right by the elevator, letting in every sound. The terrace door was hanging by one hinge, with a view of city, not the beach or pool. There was plenty of food, but it lacked flavor. Common areas were nice, and family-oriented. The beach was nice, as were the coastal hiking trails and roads. Very commercial area right around the hotel, but beach access was easy. Not a hotel to which we would return.

Nice hotel, close to beach but pool not heated

Pool very cold in October but indoor pool available. Food good especially breakfast. Receptionist a bit frosty but helpful. Asked for quiet room and that is what we got but sea view was more correctly described as “car park view”. Great location.

Not the worst but far from the best

Reception staff unhelpful and moody. No grasp of real customer service. Food ok but cold on many occasions, the restaurant staff were very helpful and polite. 3 mins from beach which is a major plus. Rooms are comfy but got swapped to a worse room before I'd arrived in my opinion. Shower over bath is a bit old school but okay.

This hotel is very well situated, just a short walk from the beach and from the shopping streets. The staff are friendly and responsive to all needs. The restaurant gives good quality and varied food at all meals. The entertainment staff worked hard and presented an adequate and varied programme throughout the week.

Hotel surprised with restaurant and location +++

+++ Do not look for another one, go here! It is a good place for a family holiday. We ate very delicious food. There are 4 beds in a room for our family. A bit cramped, but not critical. There is a balcony with shadow side. Room on the 3rd floor, it is convenient to go to the pool and to the night entertainment, they are also on the 3rd floor. The restaurant is located on the next after the 5th floor. There is also a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna. Bar on the 3rd floor. One small disappointment - the elevator, which it is wearied, we almost did not use it, because long time to wait. We walked on the stairs almost all holiday. --- The maid cleaned our room only 2 times a week (during our afternoon nap). I don't know, maybe it is normal for Europe, but in North America they do it every morning, while people away the hotel... Well, maybe we were unlucky and our room was in the end of their cleaning routing. ))

The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the food was lovely, if u love fish it's lovely. Different varieties every day The downside is you have to pay to use the fridge, safe and even the internet 7 euros a day.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, very close to the beach, walking distance about 5 minutes, lots of shops in the area, far from the busy noisy area of Lloret. Food excellent, good variaty but the size of the restaurant is not in line with the hotel capacity. Too small and people have to queue in order to be seated. This is sometime for about 20-30 minutes. The car park is fine but too expensive, the internet is also too expensive and the fact that we have to pay to have access to the fridge in the room is ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. The most annoying thing using the elevators. Badly syncronised, keep running up and down with no sense and sometime people were waiting more than 5 min. Qhen your room is at 9th floor you have to use the elevator. Other tan that the hotelmis fine.

Excellent hotel, request a room if you have kids!

Out of the all inclusive hotels I've stayed in, this was the best for; Food (SO MUCH, and different dishes each day!), room air con (not too loud) and facilities (indoor pool and spa). Anything to improve? They seat people at dinner like a restaurant, which leads to Queues and waiting around. The music plays till midnight, request a room not facing the pool - very loud.

Everything you would expect for a holiday package.

Great hotel. We stayed half board with my 2 young children 5/7 and my mum. We had problems with a guest with a barking dog, they responded appropriately. Food good standard. Rooms lovely and clean. If I had to pick one fault it would be the space to sunbathe around the pool. On the whole fantastic clean hotel in a great location (but not too near the noise) would definitely go back.

Pros: Me and my family had a great week at Alba. This was our second visit to Lorret De Mar. It is a nice hotel near to everything you will need during your stay. Food was excellent and different daily. Ali, the restaurant manager, was always welcoming and helpful. Great pool area which was always clean and safe. Great hotel for families. Cons: You had to pay for wifi, fridge and the safe. I feel that this all should come free, as standard.

Rude staff, extremely crowded

I highly advise against staying at this hotel. The one big positive is its proximity to the beach, but even if you're using it just for sleep, you can do better. The big cons are the staff is rude and every inch of ground inside and out is swamped with people. I was aware from other reviews that they charge for everything from use of the mini fridge to the safe, but they really do take it to the next level. Deposits for a pool towel. Won't provide a guest with a pen, etc. Also, the 10 am checkout is ridulously early and causes a huge line in the lobby. Lastly, paid parking is not a guarantee so you roll the dice if you drive there.

Good all round hotel

A nice hotel in a good position. Paid for upgrade to superior room and whilst very nice, it didn't seem any different to standard room. Also was All inclusive and they only ever have 1 person serving at AI end of the bar so queues can be long. Food good but not a lot of variation in the menu. Only other criticism is that they charge 35 euros to access Wifi for the week! Having said all that - it was an enjoyable stay in a good clean hotel.

Safe for solo travellers.

Lovely staff in the restaurant. Excellent food selection and attentive, friendly staff. Clean rooms with lots of complimentary toiletries to choose from. Very clean hotel. This was my first solo trip abroad and o chose the hotel based on other reviews. I stayed by myself for the week and felt very safe in the hotel. The beach is a very short walk away (less than 5 minutes) and there's also a huge selection of touristy shops. I felt safe on the beach too, there's no 'lucky lucky men' that usually frequent such places trying to sell you stuff. My room was 210, the floor below where the evening entertainment's held. I did hear a fair bit of noise but it was all over by midnight most nights. I will definitely return to this hotel, and would recommend it to friends and family too.

All round pretty nice

The hotel facilities were nice. Kids enjoyed the pools. Don't know if it would be a little too busy in peak season but was great for May half term. Beach was just a short walk away but was gravely so might want flip flops/ beach shoes. Food had a good variety but was a little bland. Rooms were basic but clean and had a fridge to keep drinks cool. Nice holiday all in all.

Nice hotel, very close to beach

We had a lovely stay, good food, Nice staff but had to pay lots for everything. Kettle, fridge, had to be paid for. internet was very expensive, €35 PER phone. We were half board but still had to pay for water at dinner time but got water, tea n coffee at breakfast!! Prices of drinks and snacks from bar were also very expensive but overall a lovely, clean hotel.

Quiet hotel with a short walk to the beach

Hotel was great; not noisy at night & laid back during the day. Room was cleaned daily. Food was good with a decent range each day. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

It was our honeymoon and we booked "Junior suite design" room. We asked some petals and champagne in our room before we come. They assured that it will be done, but instead of petals and champagne we get messy and unprepared room and we had to sleep in another room which of course was not like junior suit design at all. The breakfast was poor, meats looked like the cheapest one and same every day. Every night there was a disco until 12pm in pool area, so the rooms which had balconies with pool view had to listen because windows sound proof was terrible. Room service wasn't impressive too, sometimes it looked like they pick the same towels from the floor and hang them as new or puts old gray and teared towels (as in picture).

I would go back

The hotel was great. Great location, rooms, staff and facilities. It was wishin very close walking distance to both the beach and town. Night life was good. The only downfall was that the pool could have been bigger

Generally good value. Only issues: Breakfast 'hots' only lukewarm. Our cleaner seemed reluctant to make up the bed for some curious reason, even after request - made up twice only in 12 night stay
