This hotel is in the perfect area! Lots of options for food, gift shops, and local bars. Plus the beach is right down the street. Me and my family will definitely be staying here again!

The is a clean older motel. Beds were comfy, bathroom was clean, staff were very helpful, breakfast was sparse but good, only small complaint would be the AC, the room seam to go from freezing to hot. Would definitely stay here again!!

The staff was exceptionally helpful and over-the-top friendly and wanting to serve. It was surprisingly quiet, even being a dog friendly hotel. It was a very short walk to the restaurants and a 15 or 20 minute walk to the beach. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The only thing that we had issues with was the bed it felt like we were sleeping on box springs instead of a mattress. The hot tub was very relaxing.

Good area, Jacuzzi water had a funk to it. Ceiling fan blades need to be cleaned very dusty. Dead flies under the covers.

Front desk girl was delightful and very informative. Room and hotel were normal for renovated motels. Breakfast was average with frozen heat up scrambled eggs. Fresh Waffles No other hot breakfast items all to go. Toilet handle needed jiggling and the one queen bed was really squeaky.

I love the place where I could prepare my own food. I just did not like the cleaner knocking at our doot to clean the room for the next guest at 8am while we were sound asleep when check out time says 11am. But overall the place was great. I just did not like the cleaner knocking at our door by 8am to clean the room fo r the next guest.

Just Don’t!
Upon entering the room, we were overcome with a smell of mold and mildew. After a small look around, I found the source to be the liner of the shower curtain. I turned on the fan in the bathroom and closed the door. That night was a horrible experience, not to mention the upstairs neighbor stomping constantly since 5am. The next morning, I went to the front desk to request a new room. The front desk said a new room would be ready by 12pm. Upon entering our new room, that familiar smell was apparent, but not as strong. I happen to see a housekeeper outside one of the other rooms and asked her about the curtain. She said she would take a look, and suggested that she would replace the shower curtain liner. She did, however the smell was still faintly present. This combination, the thin floors, uncomfortable beds, and mildew smell pretty much ruined our weekend.

Me, my wife, our son and our senior dog stayed here for 2 nights. We had no major issues with the room itself. The bed was comfortable, but I can’t speak for the bedding (pillows & blankets) as we had brought our own. The bathroom floor was dirty and could have been cleaned better, but that didn’t ruin our stay. The location is great as it’s easily accessible to everything in Port Aransas. The staff were very friendly and were prompt when I had asked of something. We will definitely stay here again. The only issue we ran into was we had an upstairs room and our senior dog didn’t like the steps too well, so next time we’ll request a downstairs room.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The room is clean and nice overall. The kitchen does have utensils and a few pots and pans to use the bathroom had plenty of towels along with soap, shampoo, etc.. the bed was a bit firm for our taste but comfortable. Multiple pillows but were flat. A couple of dings. 1: fire/smoke detector was hanging down ( they acknowledged that the battery was just replaced) so that was good. 2: a paper towel was left in the microwave from a previous guest. 3 : a recliner the was pictured on the website of the room we stayed in was not present. These things were really minor. None of which were a deal breaker. I would be happy to stay here again. The price was very reasonable and I felt we got more than we needed. The staff were friendly and attentive.
