The building is dated, but they have upgraded adequately the bathrooms, bed was comfortable and sheets and towels very clean and clean smelling. It is an old house and there are about 12 rooms inside. I believe all the rooms have an on-suite with the exception of number 12 which has a private bath...

"No room service… room service is everything to me while vacationing. And a lot of renovations going on.. so spa was relocated. Took away from the experience. They should lower spa prices if can’t use a steam room , jacuzzi etc … "

"For all the motels at this end of Orange Ave it is the best. Quaint courtyard and lots outdoor seating. If you are a walker or rent bikes the 1.2 miles to the main Coronado beach area is a breeze. It’s a motel and you get all you can expect with some quirky charm included. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Beds comfy. It’s an older property like most nearby but maintained and clean. Second stay and we will be back. "
