The original building was constructed by one of Concord's earliest settlers in 1716. Former residents included Henry David Thoreau before the property was converted to a hotel in 1889. The inn provides a walking guide to the many local Revolutionary War and literary landmarks. On-site is a gift shop with postcards, books, maps, and tourist information.
The six function rooms at Concord's Colonial Inn and Suites are individually decorated in Colonial style, and are popular for meetings, banquets, and wedding parties.
