"When I arrived (on a last minute trip) the budget was tight and Expedia didn’t inform you that despite the reasonable price per night it also included a $150 deposit upon arrival. I’d rather pay for a more expensive room up front than get hit with a deposit on arrival, being treated like a derelict for staying at a la Quinta before I enter the room is annoying. Prior to arrival the hotel emailed about their vape and smoke detectors. And again, continual alerts prior to arrival are also irritating. The desk clerk was very polite. The hotel is next to a movie theater and someone in the parking lot was using their bass speakers extremely loud and you could hear it from the 6th floor. The elevator was a bit sketchy. But the room was very clean, for the age of the hotel it was excellent. The bed was comfy. I didn’t eat their breakfast. The water was hot. Overall decent."

"From the first interaction the staff wasn't able to show me where the restrooms were. The accommodation was billed 3 times, though we were assured this would be fixed immediately - 24 hours later we are still waiting to see the money in our account ! The restaurant could only offer 7 out of about 30 items on the menu! Apparently they were changing their menu, but in a very unprofessional way ! We chose the hamburger, it took forever to arrive at the table, even though we were the only customers. The burger was tough and very dry and I had to ASK for some sauce !! We should have been offered the meal for free !!! In fact we were overcharged for the evening meal, and reception confirmed that the restsurant always overcharged, and then refunded the overcharge. Still waiting........ The first thing we heard early this morning was a dog barking and barking and children screaming. The only positive thing about our stay was that the beds were comfortable ! This was NOT what we were expecting and not of the professional standard we are accustomed to. Oh, and we are STILL WAITING for the refunds."

"We had a clean room with a very comfortable bed. We were able to comfortably visit with family in the suite, which was great. The breakfast was excellent! The staff were all pleasant and helpful. I was surprised to have to pay $15 a night for parking. One elevator was out of order, which slowed the other one down because everyone had to use just one. We liked the location. It was easy to get to the highway."

"The tub was clogged and standing in dirty water when I called the front desk they were very condescending and said they would charge before it then there was no hot water. Completely rude and nothing was working! I checked out and went to Polaris which was amazing!! "

"I had a pleasant stay at Spark Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything went well during my visit, and the overall experience was positive. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, as it would benefit from a greater variety of options. Other than that, everything was great, and I would consider staying aguinaldo."

"All personnel were extremely helpful. The parking attendants gave us good information about the surrounding area about nearby businesses and city street-parking regulations. The check-in/check-out clerks answered all my questions and made visiting Colorado Springs much easier. I wish your lobby area had a vessel containing ice water for your guests, especially since your area has such Dry weather."
