The location was very good. Easy reach for shopping and sightseeing. We were extremely disappointed with the hotel,the renovation created trip hazards.Unable to have breakfast at the hotel. In the room you could barely move,the bed was pushed against the wall so if needed to get up would have to climb over the other person. Overall once the renovation has been completed we would return but pay for a bigger room.Staff were excellent.

The location was excellent. This hotel is in a very touristy area therefore the restaurants are sub par at best. Everything is very walkable from this hotel however. We went to Max Stark restaurant the first night on a recommendation and the food was absolutely amazing and authentic!

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the train station, right on the Rhine. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Coffee, tea, and a selection of water and soft drinks were included. Unfortunately, the city was working on the water at breakfast time, so we didn’t get a chance to partake of the complimentary coffee in the lobby area. The staff were friendly and helpful. A lot of restaurant choices in the area. Overall, a great place to stay.

This is a really nice place for people who want to have a look at the river, bridges, Ludwig museum, and other sites. Highly recommended!

The rooms were bright, clean and beautiful. The only downfall is the journey to my room on the 3rd Floor.. You have to go up the elevator to the 4th floor, walk down a hallway through 2 separate doors to the end of the building then walk down one flight of stairs to the 3rd floor. The smell on that walk daily was not pleasant. The location of the hotel was great!

The property is in a handy location with easy access to the old town but there are lots of bars nearby that stay open till the early hours so it can be noisy. Please take care when booking your room - the “panoramic double room” would be ideal for one person but no more - it was tiny!!! The double bed was against the wall so not ideal!! Our bathroom door wouldn’t close and despite reporting this it wasn’t fixed. The bar at the front of the hotel was good and service there was good.

Good location, however, rooms are VERY small. First room we were given also smelled very strongly of cigarettes, we were then offered a different room which also had a very bad odour. Towels didn’t seem clean and smelled badly as well. Overall, wouldn’t recommend.

The property was safe and clean, and the room was ok. However there are renovations happening in the hotel so the staircase was a bit of a building site. I had a complicated path to my room via lift to a different floor, walkway and another staircase (so lift access is not guaranteed but this was not explicit at booking). There was was a really bad damp/sewer smell in my room that was persistent. Would not stay again as there are plenty of other options.

Worst hotel experience so far
I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, my experience warrants a 2/5 stars rating at best. The bed was uncomfortable, the constant construction noise outside was disruptive, and the bathroom emitted a persistent unpleasant odor. Additionally, the tap and basin design caused water splashing issues, while the toilet leaked water. Especially the bad smell made my wife truly sick. This discomfort led us to check out a night early. Despite our request, the hotel rejected any refund, making our stay and subsequent experience quite disappointing.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Zwei Parkmöglichkeiten in ca 300 Metern Entfernung. Der Preis von 100€ pro Nacht ist für die Lage auch top. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren freundlich. Das Zimmer war super klein, in jedem Fall keine 10 qm, eher 5-6 qm. An der Sauberkeit muss deutlich gearbeitet werden. Das war eine der schmuddeligsten Unterkünfte in der wir waren. Schwarzer Schimmel im Fenster, überall eine Staubschicht. Gläser mit Wasserflecken, Badezimmer auch nicht sauber. Auf den ersten Blick schien es alles ok, beim zweiten haben wir uns geekelt. Das Zimmer roch immer muffig als wir wieder kamen. Wasser lief extrem aus der Dusche beim duschen. Morgens um 7 Uhr kein warmes Wasser, Duschhandtücher hatten wir erst ab Tag drei, haben uns bis dahin mit kleinen Handtüchern abgetrocknet. Dass man für den Preis keinen Luxus erwarten kann ist uns wohl klar, jedoch ist Sauberkeit keine Frage vom Zimmerpreis. Als wir die Dinge angesprochen haben kam auch keine Entschuldigung oder der Versuch einer Wiedergutmachung. Absolut keine Empfehlung für dieses Hotel.

Very clean and quiet, nice area, very walkable. Good attached restaurant. Travellers should be aware that the hotel has a back half that is only partially accessible by elevator, some rooms you need to take stairs. We were warned about this, but it was a bit of a hike with luggage given our age. Other than that brilliant, and would definitely stay again.

Great location however the whole weekend was let down by the hotel having problems with the hot water. Luke warm shower on day one, absolutely no hot water on day two….. very poor and no communication or assistance offered by the staff, who were clearly aware of the problem.

The location, right by the waterfront, close to the train station, and Christmas market is wonderful! However, the beds are less than desirable. I think I’ve been more comfortable on a sleeping pad when camping. They were hard and you could feel the springs. If they had better beds I’d rave about this hotel, honestly.

Excellent location. Super clean. Comfortable. Could not quite figure out how to get the bi-fold shower door to fully-closed status without it popping into the bathroom space and letting water onto the floor. Very accommodating staff. Check-in involved more steps and paperwork than typical but I think that is likely more about the state of technology adoption in Germany,
